I started to crochet this pattern. I did 303 chains. It's kinda big and I am loving it already. My second project in crocheting. I teach myself by watching your videos and others here on KZbin. Thanks

Wow that’s big real big. I was looking at chaining 110 to give me a size of 34” x 40”. Maybe I need to chain more

Oh my God you finally someone that holds their hook and yarn the same way I do. I'll be watching you. I can't watch these other people they drive me crazy when they wrap the yarn around their fingers a million times how do they get where anywhere?
@andandissima894 жыл бұрын
janice ..is not about how you hold the hook ..is about what you can do with that hook! so enjoy the pattern. i know it can be eye catching to see a different way of holding the yarn and the hook/furl but stay focus on the pattern cause that is the star for this blanket and ofc. the type of yarn which was used :))

I LOVE THIS PATTERN AND I'M GOING TO TEACH MY 24 YR. OLD DAUGHTER HOW TO CROCHET SOMETHING VERY EASY! I STARTED CROCHETING WHEN I WAS 6 YRS OLD! OVER THE YRS. I WOULD GET IN THE MOOD TO START A BLANKET MOST OF THE TIME, BUT I NEVER FOLLOWED A BOOK, I JUST MADE MY OWN STICH AND IF IT LOOKED NICE I WOULD USE IT. BUT, NOW THAT I'M DISABLED AND MY 5 CHILDREN ARE GROWN , I'M STARTING TO WATCH VIDEOS AND I'M AMAZED AT THE AMOUNT OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF PATTERNS FOR ANYTHING YOUR IMAGINATION CAN THINK UP! THIS IS MY NEXT BLANKET PATTERN FOR MY 3RD DAUGHTER! AFTER THAT 1 MORE DAUGHTER THEN MY ONLY SON! THANK YOU ! YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPLANE AND SHOW THE STICHES SO WE DON'T SCREW UP! LOL!

I love your Lollipop baby blanket & will definitely be doing it. However, my timeline is really: I start for the baby & it's ready when they're ready to go to college at age 18. 😂🤣💖🌈

I'm a new subscriber and I am so glad I came across your videos. You are by far the best teacher I have seen! After watching hundreds of videos, you are the first person to actually explain the turning chain. I have struggled with this for years. I can't thank you enough for being so precise explaining and taking the time to slow down enough to really see where your inserting your hook. Again thank you for being a GREAT teacher. Many blessings to you 🙏

Oh my gosh! Your instructions were so clear. THANK YOU! I’ve attempted blankets but the edges were so wacky. I wouldn’t finish them because I knew it was wrong. Now I’ll start them over as I can understand your instructions. You are very clear about when to crochet into the two back stitches, or into a single stitch You’re very clear about how to handle the corners. I can’t thank you enough. This is what I’ve been looking for. You are a good teacher because you don’t rush and the camera shots are very clear about where you are placing the hook. My sons brother in law is about to have his first son. I feel confident enough now to make this for the new baby. Thank you again.

Creative grandma, I tried this pattern as you showed. I didn’t care for all those rows of dc’s between the lollipop design. I worked other stitches that might compliment the lollipop design. I found I like the crossed dc’s between the lollipop design. I chained up an even # of stitches and worked the crossed dc’s at the start and after every lollipop row. I think the crossed dc’s enhanced the said design and gave a more lacey design overall.
