It takes a lot to stop with the hand brake. Legs have way more strength and pushing advantage!

Josh, it’s l 👀 king pretty kool, if you had more time it would be nice for a knife type of handle for your brake lever. Your hand would probably appreciate it too. Ready for the next one.

You mean like an actual knife handle? No one would have done that back in the day. That stuff just showed up recently on rat bikes and rat rods.

Yes like that , a wood handle and rivets. Thats right you you are keeping this period correct.

Probably won't need it but a drilled gusset would reinforce the drag link bend. Some dragster drag links were 2 piece with a vertical idler mounted on the lower frame rail supporting the joint to remove the whiplash.

Yeah, I've seen the dragsters with 2 piece draglink. I thought about doing that, but this is good enough for what this car will do.
