@@luxurious9996 Nah, Roxas and/or Ventus would work better since they share a similar height to KH2 Sora, where as Riku has always been a big taller than Sora. However, even though Roxas and Ventus have a similar height, that's only for KH2/3 Sora, and wouldn't make sense in Smash since the one in Smash is KH1 Sora just in the different outfits.

It's actually an Action RPG, Well more like Action Adventure like Link. There's acturally nothing JRPG about Sora at all in terms of gameplay. For why people want Sora, they either were drawn to the game because of Disney (in fact Square Enix decided Disney was the perfect choice to rival Mario), and Final Fantasy. After playing, players are drawn to the original characters that is Sora and his friends represented in Smash. It's basically how anyone who loves playing a certain game would love to see that specific character appear in Smash, Kingdom Hearts draws a bigger crowd which creates a massive fanbase.

@@NumbHydro kingdom hearts has been on Nintendo before DS: 358/2 days and re:coded 3DS: dream drop distance and GBA: chain of memories (the 2nd kh game). Also just because it's a PlayStation character that doesn't mean anything. Joker (Or the persona franchise as a hole) is a PlayStation exclusive but there's a select few games that are Nintendo exclusive.
