@@twopint32oz You don't wave off the camera on the final meters of the race... My guess is that he wanted to celebrate, but realized whilst raising his arm, that Roglic is about to pass him.

Roglic sure can be punchy when he feels good. He's a better stage racer overall, but he races a lot like Valverde in these uphill sprints.

Beautiful climb in the last 4 kilometres. Thankful to Felix Gall for suggesting it and then the usual story in the Vuelta a España. Roglič superior to the others if he is healthy. I suffered for how close Lennert van Eetvelt was to winning the stage, he won the UAE Tour, he could not go to the Tour de France due to illness and he cannot compete in the big races either because his team participates by invitation. Enric Mas, always so criticised, is very good, Almeida who was able to survive and recover, it has always been his style. Landa who does not give up fighting with the young ones like Riccitello. The normal thing for cyclists who lost time in the first climb of La Vuelta. Especially disappointed with Mattias Skjelmose. UAE without Pogačar is not as powerful and Visma with Sepp Kuss and Uijdebroeks will be looking for a top ten at most.

JUST IMAGINE how good Primos could be (have been ) if he overcame his affinity for kissing asphalt multiple times every Grand Tour he has ridden - he has easily LOST 3-4 Grand Tours that were at least winnable had he STAYED UPRIGHT

Yeah, but the TOUGHNESS he has utilized in his wins has come from those "acts of attrition". His ability to "get back up" one more time than he has been knocked down, is ridiculous. It only seems to spurn him on even more. Remember how he started.

Vuelta is so so much fun to watch than TdF. There's no a certain giant who has unlimited energy that no body can follow him once he attacks. Everybody has bigger chance to win it. It's more humane and fun to watch.

Not fair. This stage was not for him. Relatively short and mega steep is not his favourite. It needs to be long and steady-they are very similar with Jonas in that regard.

@@tonyg3091 Kuss is more explosive that Vingegaard. I would say that the very high, also mega steep mountains is for Kuss... I think he will slowly get better daily. He is still only 1.14 after Roglic.
