You need two hands to punch people, forge documents, operate firearms, deliver drugs, and pretty much do anything in this life. And even when your arm heals, it's not going to heal perfectly, so you're going to be in pain for the rest of your life, and you'll never play the saxophone again either. And everything I said about broken arms? Goes double for broken legs, because your mobility is severely hampered. What good are your two good hands if you can't get to the right places on time? DIO's Scary Monster and THE WORLD God, I hate the Batmobile so much. There's a reason that I don't play racing games or games like Grand Theft Auto. I freakin suck at driving in video games, and they've shoehorned the Batmobile into just about every mission in the game. Half the time, I'm just slowly moving through the street in battle mode because I can't turn a corner without slamming into a building, and the chase missions are terrible. I literally spent like thirty minutes on the one mission where you have to chase down the impostor Arkham Knight.

Key Strix I honestly just wanted a TON of fear induced levels like in Arkham Asylum. Those were Incredible! Yet we don't get any in this game. Just Joker talking over and over. I can't understand why they thought that would be better.

TrueUnderDawgGaming I can understand that. Those levels were really cool. But yet, I still love the way the fear effect was utilized in AK and it didn't constantly lead up to "MY PARENTS ARE DEAD". There was only one hint of that but the rest were proper sorts of fears that Batman hadn't dealt with yet. At the same time, they didn't get over-the-top lavishing. Instead, they were well integrated to actually play mind games with you. Now, I dunno if you beat the game, but there are fear effects at the end that I think you might really like~

If I remember correctly the whole "people taking advantage of Batman not killing people" thing becomes a problem in The Dark Knight. Sal Maroni doesn't give Batman information because he doesn't care what Batman does, knowing Batman won't kill him but Joker most likely will.

Alright, what did we learn from Arkham Origins? It doesn't matter whether you handle him well or not, people are sick of the Joker. Alright, great, maybe now they can do something different; focus on developing another of their great villains instead of just assigning them all to side missions. I'm so thankful this isn't a full LP. Matt playing like this a bit entertaining in short bursts, but to do a full LP like an inattentive 8 year old that's off his meds would vastly out shame Pat's performance in The Last of Us LP. Despite its flaws, Arkham Knight is overall a fantastic game that deserves better attention than Matt and Woolie shouting over the cutscenes and DURR-DA-DURRing all the way through.

Also... No, Matt. No. Assassin's Creed does not get a pass. AC keeps churning out crap on a yearly basis, only managing to make something good every 2-3 years and it's story is hardly going anywhere. The Arkham story is going places with every game and the series only had one big stumble called Origins. It's a shame that a lot of the flack that this game gets is because of Origins. Might as well say the entire series of DMC now sucks because Devil May Cry 2 happened.

Reese R well here's the thing i had really high expectations for origins after playing city. so i payed full price 60 bucks for it. to this day it's the only game that has crashed my xbox. During development the game was being hyped up so much that i was expecting it to ne on par with city and it wasn't. didn't add anything new or interesting. the only reason i played it was because i payed so much for it. thats what ruined the series for me having to play it every day not because i was having fun but because it cost me money i wasn't getting back.

Why do people say that City's ending made no sense? There are some questionable motives sure, but the plot was overall smooth. SPOILER Also, who cares if Jason is the Knight? Jason being a full time villain in the comics is one of the only interesting thing they had ever done with the character. It was stupid that they changed it at all.

I think it's good to point out that Rocksteady only worked on Asylum, City, and now Knight. Any other games in the Arkham franchise (Origins, Blackgate) are made by WB Montreal, who were the ones to favor dlc over updates and will probably pick up the Arkham franchise now that Rocksteady is leaving to do their own thing. In relation to how dumb the plots have been getting in the Trilogy...I'm not surprised. They have a game to make, and the writer needs to wrap the scenarios around them, not the other way around (I assume that's how the games work anyway). Thus, things get stupid when it's not the Animated Batman writer doing it. I'm still gonna enjoy the games, though.

Takuexl1 Yeah, I have the same problem with Asylum that I do with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. You build up all this cool stuff, and then when you beat the final boss and solve the problems, Batman/Samus just drives/flies away with a thumbs up to Gordon/that general guy all like "mission accomplished", and then the credits role. That's probably the reason why Asylum is probably my least favorite in the series (other that Blackgate, which I haven't played, but there's no way it could be GOOD), even less than Origins. Arkham City's plot, dumb as it could be at times, still felt like it MATTERED. And Origin's story was legitimately good (hey, we actually made Bane an interesting character this time!), despite that Conroy and Hamill didn't reprise their roles. The only PROBLEM with Origins' story is the whole "You thought Black Mask was the villain, but it was me, Joker!" thing. Everything else was pretty good. I think, personally, Knight has the best story out of the entire series. It's got tremendous performances by all the actors (and being able to see Gordon, Alfred, Barbara, and the rest's faces during dialogue, rather than just hearing them over the radio, is really nice). And the ending scenes of the game (after the reveal of who the Knight is and the subsequent "boss fight") are really awesome, and bring a real sense of finality.

BlueScarabGuy I actually like Asylum's story, or at least I like what they did with it. Asylum's strength was that it was a very tight game; no excess, no waste. The same could be said about the story. It didn't risk anything, but it also didn't screw anything up. I can appreciate Knight's scale, but, personally, there are some things that I just can't get over, primarily how the knight always just sounds like hes trowing a temper tantrum, and that there is practically nothing to Scarecrow besides gloating. It did do some very important things very right though.

Takuexl1 Yeah, the Knight wasn't one of Troy Baker's best performances. But to be fair, goons around Gotham talk about how he never talks about anything BUT Batman. So a constant barrage of "You're gonna die Batman! Why aren't you dead? I'm gonna kill you!" makes some sense from a characterization standpoint.

Takuexl1 and honestly, even if it was a hair one a dimensional, I appreciated how legitimately scary Scarecrow was. In the Animated series, he always seemed somewhat comedic to me, and in Batman Begins he was kind of nothing. You have to admit, John Noble nailed that performance.

What Mat was saying in the beginning of the video was that Assassin's Creed changes it's weapons, settings, and time period up from game to game, which is it's selling point. The Batman games are the same general combat, in the same setting, with the same characters every time. It gets stale a lot faster.
