Fun fact: In the non sensored version of Real Bout 1, Blue Mary loses her top when she rings out into the water. The other fun fact is that if you ring out people far enough on that stage they get electrocuted by the sign before falling in the water. Sadly the PS2 collection of Real Bout on PS2 is censored but hopefully SNK will fix this with a PS4 release. Despite SNK feeling the games suffered from the natural disasters of the development time period, the concepts implanted into each one made them all significantly different than one another and insanely well crafted by standards then and now. It makes me happy that the several years later people can realize what SNK has been bringing to the table for a long time and that every last piece of the SNK library now deserves another look, release, and you can expect that so much of it will appear as cameos and references in their games moving forward. Much of the SNK universe fits on one timeline and what does not actually fits together on at least one timeline together and the stage intros themselves speak of scene setting story telling that use to be the hallmark of many great novels, manga and anime. Now is the perfect time to see these re emerge.
