www.hunchbackracing.se for pictures and facts! From Sweden comes this 1953 Volvo called The Carbonfiber PV (Kolfiber PVn). It has a 16V, 4 cylinder, 2192 cm3 (133 cui), 1050 hp volvo engine. From 0 to 275 km/h in 7.90s in 402 meters (1/4 mile). It has run faster though.

Best time is 7.74 in Finland...some facts...... Car: VOLVO PV 444 1953 .Volvo B21, 2,185 - 2,192 litre. aprox 1080hk.16-valve. 5-gear Liberty gearbox(with air gear-shift). Ray Franklin 7" titan clutch. built on chrome moly chassi, carbonfiber body , kevlar wheelhouse. 785kg (incl.driver). Some changes could have been made from last time i seen them. Owner of the car is Hunchbackracing, Skellefteå, Sweden

We have the same season as you, it didn't rain as much as normal here but we get rained out a lot too. The track closed unfortunately so there is only 1/8 mile and Topeka top fuel nhra track (too far to drive/bad winds/bumpy)

it's the same engine that came in volvo 240s, but with a 16v head off of another volvo motor. The factory 8v heads sound totally different
