Visor down always now right? ;) Never know what can happen. Actually that OEM glass is amazing and kept that axles from penetrating into the cockpit. Glad that went as well as it did!

I think it's not glass at all to begin with but plastic of some description, because it's lighter.

I know it may look odd that I raced further on, but at that point I thought: I still have some windscreen left and what are the chances that this would happen again. It's racing, you either love it or you don't. And if you really love it, something like this can't spoil your urge to win. Even if it could have seriously gone wrong.

it is glass, front windows don't shatter like side-windows.

Hi guys, the windscreen is actually a standard windscreen like on streetcars. But the force of the driveshaft was so big that it did make a hole.
