I love the fact that it’s a notable European sports car that looks like a supercar but is sublime enough to be a typical car. It doesn’t try to be high performing, even by the standards of its own time. Its all about the grandeur you get with it. And I love that.

A beautiful car, in my top 5 of all time greatest sports cars. 1969 Corvette Stingray coupe beats it for style design and performance. The V6 is not on par with the Corvettes mighty V8. Also the Dino has more feminine looks, which are beautiful but again the Corvette has that rare quality of having beautiful curves but with a more masculine stance. I love the ribbed seats the Dino had, I doubt they would hold you well as theres no side bolstering, but great to look at. Keith Richard's had one and I think his was silver too.

@@SuperCarClassicsTV Just factual, the Dino is a fantastic car, but a V6 against a mighty Chevy V8… the Dino would be taken apart on the track. Looks on both cars yes both fantastic, but once again masculinity and sexy curves in one car..the Corvette, now that’s a design masterpiece.

Sadly from 2030 on all the combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one station per city. :-(

There were thousands made; insulting to Ferrari enthusiasts at the time, being a half way point between that company and its parent Fiat. But the Dino will always have a special place in anyone’s heart. A humble appearance, among the last of the cars inspired by the 60s racers. And yet despite its supercar appearance it doesn’t try to be remotely a supercar in performance. But that’s what makes it special. It’s a humble car for people who don’t want the performance but want the looks and the decency of it. It’s not a machine that will cost you a fortune to keep running, or am I wrong about that?
