YES!! I thought this too! Everything Draco has done has been out of fear of losing his support group: his family most notably. But all that connects with how he's so attached to his family and the ideals his family subscribes to, no matter how nefarious they are. I think Draco is actually very unsure of where he stands most of the time, but he sides with his family no matter what. That's what makes him "The Loyalist". The times where Draco did act grandiose and pompous, to me, felt very superficial, petty, and easy to see through, which wouldn't make a lot of sense for a 3. Even though 3's can be very arrogant and braggy at times, most of time, I think they actually have good reason to back that up. They are constantly looking for ways to be perceived as successful, to "put on a mask" and hide some sense of underlying shame. They also tend to define themselves by their accomplishments and what they do, as opposed to who they are or who they affiliate themselves with. So great to be talking about the enneagram and Harry Potter with you all!

Well, having a fear of fear itself would technically mean that Harry's boggart would just be another boggart. A fear of dementors suggests Harry fears falling into a deep depression or losing his soul most of all. This brings a lot more depth to Harry's character and inner strength that he has to find on a daily basis if that actually is true.

I'm a six and it actually makes total sense. One of our biggest "fingerprints" is that we deal a lot in opposites. This is because we tend to be highly anxious, have a hard time trusting people, and have an insecure sense of ourselves. We can be both social and antisocial, strong and weak, trusting and distrustful, etc. This is strongly affected by whether we're at our "worst" or "best" (or any level in between) and Lupin's insecurity led to him getting a lot closer to being "at his worst." He was self-destructing and self-sabatoging, bringing about his worst fear (losing his wife) BECAUSE of the fear itself. It was a way to try to protect himself. And personally, when it comes to times in my life that I was struggling, I can definitely relate.

I actually think Harry is a 8w9 called the bear. He wants to be self reliant and can put himself through great pain for what he believes in. My husband is this type and he can look like a 9 but 9s really want to avoid conflict and Harry always seems to chase after it. I don’t think 8s are always how they are portrayed to be they don’t need to be extraverted and angry all the time.

For a while I was in a treatment center for a psychiatric disorder. I won't say where or for what, but one of our therapy groups was about our enneagram number and it was a hit among the patients! I'm a pretty clear 1 (and something else that I can't remember) and PROUD to be in the same category as Ms. Hermione. This was a fun video and I hope you do more enneagram stuff in the future!

One thing about enneagrams, that I like most, is that it gives you an insight into and a way to interact with someone you *don't* get along well with and if you have only experienced the bad side of them, the enneagram charts show you their good sides that you didn't know about 🙂

This would be my list: 1. Perfectionist: Severus Snape Reason: Mostly for his self discipline. Also self punishment when he makes mistakes. That he expects high standards from both himself and his students. Lastly and most importantly, he MANS UP when it comes to saving Harry (even out mans Sirius more than once) and is the mature one in the room as much as it hurts to deal with the fact that Harry's father is James. 2. Helper: Dobby Reason: Through all his eccentric and disastrous attempts to save Harry, he makes sure Harry and his friends have what they need for success. Even at the cost of his own life. 3. Performer: James (aka Opportunistic Narcissist) Reason: Everything he does is to feed his ego. From becoming the star of the Quidditch team and bullying other students to snagging the prettiest girl in school (which I would say was a cause of hypergamy and hero worship because of his money and they won against Voldemort during his first attempt to take over Hogwarts.) Not because Lily genuinely grew to love him. Even Sirius openly admitted James continued to bully their peers but changed his modus operandi so Lily wouldn't find out. 4. Artist: Weasley Twins Reason: They never do anything unless it breaks or bends the rules. They don't let anyone get between them and doing what they think is right or their next adventure. 5. Investigator: Draco Reason: He's observant, smart, opportunistic and despite his two sidekicks, he's more of an aloof loner than the social type. 6. Loyalist: Neville Reason: Even though he's a forgetful dunce who can't seem to get out of his own way half the time, he still does everything he can to help his friends. Even if it means trying to thwart their latest scheme. 7. Enthusiast: Ron Whether he's directing a giant game of chess, flying a car from Kings Cross to Hogwarts, fighting spiders, combats jealousy over Hermione and constantly feels left out of everything important; he can't stop jumping in with both feet into their next adventure. 8. Challenger: Voldemort Reason: He craved the unattainable and bullied his way through life and "death" to get what he wanted. 9. Peacemaker: Hermione Though Harry ultimately ushered in peace, if it wasn't for Hermoine being the referee in many of their situations or pulling them out of bad situations or sometimes getting little thrills at being a deviant, she was ready and willing to smack Ron and Harry's heads together to stop their in-fighting and humble anyone who fluffed their egos... they wouldn't be much use if they couldn't pull their ranks together because of her prodding.

I just came up with a fan theory : all the creatures in dark forest are there, because Hagrid has brought them there. It would make sence, since he isn't scared at all when he goes into the Dark forest. Imagine if Dumbledore actually allowed him to stay on the school grounds, because he knew about Hagrids obsession with magical creatures and came up with a way to take advantege of Hagrid and the creatures, to protect the school.

I’m a solid 9w1 Ravenpuff Interesting story, when I first learned about Enneagram last year, I thought that I was some kind of exception to the test. I thought my personality fit pretty well with 2,5,6,7 and a little bit of 1. BUT, it turns out that that is a common trait of 9s given the whole mediator, take from all sides thing. And so when I officially got a 9 everything fell into place and I was stunned with how well it all fit.
