That’s a big part of it, the other is that it’s single exit. Dual exits and singles when sound a little different

⁠@@RubyXIIIyeah it’s because of how their set up most of the time singles start off as 2 pipes then they converge into 1 and then exit out the tip creating a more smooth tone because the sound isn’t being split between 2 pipes where dual exits most of the time just stay as 2 separate pipes all the way. Also the headers do help a lot with changing the sound especially ppe headers which this car has. If you hear a vq that isn’t boosted then gets boosted it changes the sound quite a lot as well . Gets rid of a lot of the rasp.
