It's hard to tell on video, but if your LED tail light bulbs are coming through a bit on the yellow side, Classic Car LEDs in the UK make really nice warm white bulbs that show a lot more nicely through old style red lenses. Shipping to AU is extremely reasonable, too. I fitted a complete set of their gear to my Valiant years ago, the quality is right up there, and none of them has failed on me or given any trouble. Their switchbacks for incorporating white, amber, or red functions into a single location also work flawlessly.

I saw that little burnout at the end. The TOJO Crown lives again. My grandfather bought my then very young Mum a Luxury Crown around 1974 (I was about 4 and am pretty sure it was a V8). She actually refused to take it - afterward he drove it around Parramatta for a while and had a massive prang in it. I Remember it sitting all bent up at the side of his antique shop for a few years and the hang dog look he had when we walked past it. Thanks for bringing back the memories guys

Turbo Yoda a Woodrigues are propper mechanics. Just been beaten down to humbleness by many a failure and engine that just won't behave. As such they're absolutely knowledgeable of their limits, and know when and where to ask for help. Also they take every opportunity to call out the ones that are helpful, and share a similar attitude. I'm not really into cars, especially not the petrol head models these fellahs like, but I absolutely love your videos, all the years of experience and skills that go into making them, all the clever editing, all the passion and knowledge. The cackle from that motor definitely sounds like "a blown, old school, methanol (and) carby engine" and DEFINITELY gives you "street cred"! Sadly, which is arguable, it can, and should, be tuned to run at its best which means no more cackle BUT more power & drivability etc. etc. Great job guys! Thanks for the share.

Freakin' mint boys. Hey what's the go at 17:03, 17:28 and 17:41? There looks to be a little orange flicker in the valley back near the firewall, almost looks like a flame or a light. You can see it from both sides of the engine, but most noticeable at 17:41 from the passenger side.

@@theskidfactory Excellent. I just saw that slop at certain points and would have hated to see something go wrong after all that work.
