Taking out the dash to replace the chassis harness takes some patience. Also I would recommend finding the factory clutch brackets so you don't need to do a lot of fabrication.

This would be true for the A/C since it is driven off of the engine(although I have a supercharger there now instead of a compressor lol), however, the heater is utilizing waste engine heat; that would translate to a reduction of heat in the engine bay/cooler IATs/marginal increase in power

Yes go six speed and build the motor to push a lot more power. Forged everything will handle the abuse. I just rev mine out to 7k but it’s stock motor so it’s decent for what it is but I’m opposite I drive the STI slow but the Acura fast.

The trans cooler in the Type-S is key, but the Gerzy Bear kit comes with a significantly bigger one that I’m sure is saving its life lol! Thanks bro🙌

It’s an OEM Type-S bumper with A-Spec! Just have the grill painted black

Definitely, but it’s a lot easier on the drivetrain components that weren’t made for higher torque figures, so I don’t mind as long as I’m not breaking stuff lol!

@@NickTrelford interesting so it better to do regular driving around with traction ? I just got me 08 Acura tl type s it has now a AEM cool intake and reson delete n notice how my foot barely on pedal n it kicks off pretty fast I think I’ll keep put it on traction for now lol

I broke in my engine, and sent the Crosstour to the builder for the supercharger install. What kind of numbers did you end up with? 0-60? I'd love it if I can complete the build in a month, but I kind of doubt it with the holiday season coming :(

I actually still haven’t done any runs with my Dragy in this thing yet, but I’ll definitely do that when I bring it back out from storage and see what she runs 0-60, 60-130 etc.🙌

​@NickTrelford Unfortunately, I have to abandon the supercharger route because my ECU doesn't support much of the disables needed to run boost. Going to build it NA so I'm not completely wasting my money, but yeah too bad.

Have you checked with Halferland Performance? They just came out with an ECU adapter solution for J-series vehicles that can support standalone ECU’s!

@@NickTrelford I'm working with them for some cams. I saw the options but I need to OEM to run in parallel and I believe the standalone would require a lot of work to program since this isn't an engine code popular for tuning. That's the problem. The solution is there but I'm not willing to spend the money for it.

Yessir you can do this to any TL! It’s worth noting,however, that the 04-06 will require a dedicated aftermarket ECU/harness

The chassis has like 390,000kms😂 Engine and trans have ~150,000kms if I remember correctly
