That reminds me of a car I had fun with in a game a lil back, rock crawler type Jeep it was, big LS motor under the bonnet pumping many plenty Bald Eagles for any terrain, it ripped real well, drifting with 25 degrees of roll around a roundabout, light body too, that was fun. Front rises so much no sight of the road in front under acceleration, under braking the top bar above the windscreen blocks the horizon, a turn at 30 mph is enough to max the roll :D I loved it a lot, still got it too, called it the Bald Eagle Jelly Crawler :)

Agreed it has enough power to weight transfer and float through corners when drifting. crown vic's are comfortable, leave the soft suspension and enjoy long trips with with a somewhat practical 800hp supercharged v8 sedan

It’s funny because they aren’t that big. Every time I am next to a Charger or 300 I look dwarfed in stature. It’s the bumpers that sticks out more. If it was build like a modern car it would be a flush front & rear making it as big as a 2016 Honda Accord 😂

I remember my first car was an 03 cvpi just like neighbor. All white with black interceptor steelies. Stock 4.6 with a maruader airbox and underpulleys. Slight bump in throttle response and get up. Used to take it to Sunday night car meets and drift around parking lots in it. The rear end goes exactly where you say to every damn time.

I am so fucking jealous of this car it's honestly been a dream of mine long before you guys ever bought the Crown Vic, and then you guys ended up putting the exact engine I was wanting in mine, which was a coyote engine at first but you guys decided to get the gt500 so you could get the drive train and all that for the Vic, and so that's what I'm going to do on mine when I actually can afford to do it. From the videos of you guys putting the gt500 motor in made it seem like it was meant to be lol. I can't wait to have my own, to do exactly what you do with Neighbor. Drifting, drag racing, whatever you name it that car can do it.

STRONG HIGHBRID the engine blocks on the 4.6 and 5.4 are very similar if not interchangeable, I believe the extra displacement is achieved with the different heads/rod/piston combo. The gt500 eng is essentially a truck block with 32 valve heads and a blower. I used to work at a Ford dealership, worked on dozens of crown vics as well as every other ford, I've had this idea for a long time but never had the cash laying around to build all my fantasy brain creations... LoL but it makes sense that everything would pretty much bolt together

Derek Hansen the gt500 5.4 has the same bore as the 4.6 just different stroke due to higher deck height. It also uses similar heads to the Ford GT. And I promise you it's not like the truck blocks lol similar but not the same. If anything it has more similarities to the ford GT engine.

I used to have a '67 Chrysler NewYorker when I was in high school in the early 80's. It had a 440 Wedge engine and was loaded with hp and torque. I would drift it on gravel roads for miles. It was a barge beast with an attitude and power seats and power windows:)
