Can a 2006 Chevy keep up with a brand new twin turbo Aston Martin that costs 4 times more? We teamed up with our friends at @throtl to build a badass C6 Corvette Z06, but before we hand it off to one of you lucky Hoonigans we had to give it a proper high-speed shakedown. Pedro was kind enough to bring his very fancy AMG-powered, twin turbo Aston Martin Vantage out to line up against our newly upgraded ‘Vette.

It worked just didn't work the first time because I was attempting a burnout but the car would cut it off and engage launch control it's annoying that and my knee is held together by a couple screws and wires so holding it down for prolonged periods of times is difficult but I still got it to launch good on the last 3 but it's no match for that Z06 😅

LC is more for at a stand-still without doing any prep... set it and launch. Like the 911 Turbo S or the BMW M5CS; 3500rpm soft limiter but launches like a rocket thanks to AWD too. Plus people like Matt Watson from Carwow, drifts doughnuts to warm tires rather than a drag burnout.

Whoever determines "the car lengths" at the finish line they obviously never raced before. When you're on someone's back door or rear fender how is that 1 car length? A few races ago, the losing car was on the tail lights, and the dude said "2 car lengths" Ima need one of the Hosts to stand down there because the camera dude is clueless lmao.
