The rear end with the updated brake light fascia looks so much cleaner than it’s predecessor. And 5sp Manual changes that car for the best. I’ve only driven one of these back when I was in the car business. Great car that you don’t see much of anymore making it a real head turner especially in the ever iconic ‘Guards Red’. Well done sir & enjoy it for me will ya. 👍

These engines, supercharged or not, sound so great. One day back in the 80s I was walking down west 6th in Austin and one came around the corner off Lamar and he punched it hard - the sound was beautiful. I think I could hear the cam chains over the growling exhaust. My head whipped around as he shot past me and flew down the road. Such an exciting moment and such a beautiful car.

That is a BEAUTY. Red color suits so well to 928. Yours look pristine. It's pretty amazing that this car came out 1987 and the shape even 10 years earlier. It could be a new car... only the pop-up headlights reveal its age.

yes the car is timeless and so under appreciated. th rotrex kit is from vcb engineering. it is a complete kit and well thought out kit. getting everything dialed in correctly is the key.

The 928 is an undeniably beautiful car, and it's a shame Porsche stopped making them. I'm hoping that one day they'll make a smaller 2-door Panamera and call it a "928 Panamera" given that they've done something similar with the "718 Boxster/Cayman" albeit for a different reason. I would love to eventually find a 928 in rock green metallic or black and supercharge it to make it a GT car that still holds its own in today's world.

Hi Rob, I love your 928. I have a black 928s4 with a stage 2 blower as well. How is the cooling system in your car? Do you have any overheating problems. Unfortunately I do, If the car sits idle for long periods of time, the temperature creeps up to the red zone. But when its driven in the expressway, it cools down. Do you ever experience this problem? I been bouncing around from mechanic to mechanic trying to figure out this problem. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly apperciated :)

Awesome...this is my goal. I currently own a 2008 Bullitt but I would like to utilize a Porsche 928 as my daily. I am shooting for at minimum, an s4 that I can swap a 6-speed into. Your car is very nice man, you should be proud. The super charger is insane...very powerful I would imagine.

Hey, not sure if you still follow this thread but I'm hoping you do because I could use some input on the car's reliability after the SC install. I am seriously considering installing a SC on my five speed S4 this summer. How was it with maintaining a normal driving temp? Did you ever have overheating issues or any other issues related to the SC? Any advise would sure be appreciated. THX and BEAUTIFUL car!! I had a Guards red S4 auto that I let go for my black 5spd. I hope to own another red 928 one day
