honestly as someone who never played the original the new VA realy does sounds like a dude reading a script. He doesnt seem to be a bad va, more just like he got super awful directions for this role bc HOO BOY its rough

Honestly, saying he sounds like he’s reading a script is still pretty generous. It’s more like someone gave him his lines sentence by sentence and with a week or two in between line reads so he would always forget context. Pretty sure they did the same thing to Cloud’s VA for Advent Children. Anyone else remember the classic “…SePhIrOtH, wHaT dO yOu WaAaAnT?”

I can confirm, men in public bathrooms (I work in retail, Walmart) do not wipe. You can hear people wiping after they shit. They don’t wash hands either. Every 1/10 will wash hands, everyone else walks straight out.

Just got to this part in my Reunion playthrough when I thought of something. Despite the design being largely game promotional material, how do you think Young Sephiroth entered SOLDIER? A 3rd Class recruit like others, a 2nd Class "fast track kid", a 1st Class unparalleled prodigy, or something entirely different?

Are Back Attacks in combat still the way to go in this version? I remember that helped me get through battles I would've been stomped in during my old playthroughs.

FFVII isn’t a bad game. It’s just not what I wanted. I wish it got the crisis core treatment where the only things they updated were the camera, graphics, and combat.
