Yep, the 70s I had a Brougham, crush velvet interior, sun roof, my buddy had a Eldorado, which influenced me to get the Brougham, we wasn't pimpin tho people thought we were . We both had a day job...riding 6 deep to the parties..good times 😊

Great great video I'm 51 I grew up in the 70s I remember these "pimp type" cars. Eldorados Deuce and a Quarters Tornados Mark IIIs IVs and Vs. This guy seems like a cool good dude...I love these old school stories all my life I've sat and listened to the old heads tell stories...

Yep vinyl tops and sides some had the back window tricked out with some type of emblem. Sometimes the spare on the side mostly on the back with white walls. If you had that in Bmore you were most likely a heroin dealer if not that then a pimp.

What does it matter if he had all white people working in the shop or all black and brown or any ratio of the three, If black and brown men aren't willing to invest in their own communities and business then the blame is on us for choosing to make the white man/ asian man rich. Real quick question how many black or hispanic banks have you seen or heard of? I can speak for myself none but I see alot of korean banks and other asian ran banks and credit unions and white owned banks are a dime a dozen. Something is horribly wrong when a person can immigrate to this country and have no ancestral ties and go to a bank a be treated like a diplomat and be given a loan and when a black or brown person tries to get a loan we're given the the 3rd degree then told sorry you weren't approved.
