Transformers 80s cartoon pioneered the "becoming humans" plot with Only Human in Season 3, funnily enough. Arcee looked like a blonde Princess Leia. And Wreck-Gar being played by Weird Al is a nod to the 86 movie and how his "Dare to be Stupid" song was the theme for the Junkions, who Wreck-Gar led in that continuity.

There is actually an episode of the G1 transformers cartoon called "only human" in which a group of transformers are turned into humans by a character who is never directly acknowledged as cobra commander from gi joe but is clearly cobra commander.

Xavier might either not know or forgot about, but there were two other instances I recall where Autobots turn into humans. One was the G1 episode from season 3 "Only Human" where Autobots' minds were put into syntethic human bodies (this episode also featured guest apperance of Cobra Commander from GI Joe), and there was also the other time in IDW, in More than Meets the eye where Autobots had (if I got it right) holographic human disguises. Also, there are pretenders, but that's it's own can of worms.

Fantastic Christmas cartoon collection. I love KND & Real Ghostbusters best. It was really cool learning about an older Batman Christmas special. Please include Danny Phantom on next year's list. American Dragon would also be a great choice and so would Totally spies. They had a christmas special in the third season and operated a lot like superheroes.
