For those asking why Chadwick Boseman wasn't mentioned. The name of the video is "Superheroes We've Lost in 2020 So Far", not "Actors Who Played Superheroes". Yes, Chadwick was a wonderful actor and according to those who knew and worked with him, a good person. However, Marvel Studios has not yet decided what will happen with T'Challa/Black Panther going forward within the MCU. Nothing has been confirmed whether they will recast or simply have T'Challa killed off-screen and allow Letitia Wright as Shuri take over as Black Panther.

I can't imagine anyone replacing Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. The only sensible thing to do is have Shuri become the next Black Panther. Chances are she'll have to prove herself, and it won't be easy for her. If anything, they could have a few CGI images of T'Challa in a dream or two.

Honestly, they had to, and... it's actually a _really_ bad thing continuity-wise. After New 52, DC's next big retcon was a Marvel-like "everything is canon again at the same time!", which does in fact include New 52 itself (hell, New 52 Supes is canonically a part of post-Crisis Supes somehow, I'm not sure of the specifics). Meanwhile, as the end to the animated New 52 continuity (IIRC) that had been very heavily focused on the war against Darkseid, they wrote themselves into a corner; they needed to give us a payoff or the plot arc would've been for naught, and this _is_ actually the best way to do that (since everything is tied in now, it does make sense that Doomsday wasn't just a one-off that Darkseid would throw away after one use, and Cyborg being made with Apokalips tech would logically give them a backdoor they could use to spy on him). Unfortunately, though, after the buildup to a war that the heroes realistically couldn't win, the most likely outcome was a slaughter like this. [And from a meta perspective, destroying the sets, so to speak, gives a good out-of-universe reason for a reboot.] We know Flash can change the timeline, so it doesn't come out of left field, and elements of Flashpoint bleeding through have foreshadowed it for a while now. ...The big question, though, is whether this directly ties into the Multiversity, or whether it's intended to put animated Nu52 back in line with comic Nu52; if the former, we risk running into some *big* plot holes when everything's canon again.

The Flash causing another flashpoint at the end of Appokolips War is how they’re going to create what I like to call the DC original animated universe. All the movies after Appokolips War are going to be original stories and not based on already established comic storylines. Hell, I’d love it if they would do a DC Metal movie.

Other deaths in the series include abandoned and wounded Decepticon Impactor, who in previous continuities has been a violent Autobot special forces commander and Moonracer, one of the original Female Autobots from 1985, implied to be the girlfriend of A-10 Warthog Autobot Powerglide way back then, she is just one more casualty in this series. One of Starscream's squadron of Seekers, Skywarp, is killed by Decepticon turned Autobot Jetfire. In a squadron where everyone looks the same as Starscream, Skywarp is the black one who can teleport.

It's the DC universe they'll just reset it back to the way it was their deaths have no meaning, they just keep killing them over and over, now if you really want to see some apocalyptic level super hero deaths, read Irredeemable or Alan Moore's run on Miracleman, the deaths and decisions in those series are alot more permanent and have more meaningful lasting effects than what's being shown here!
