Superhumans Center in Ukraine provides prosthetics to those injured in the war

Far from the frontlines, Ukraine's Superhumans Center is providing prosthetics and rehabilitation to some of the 10,000 Ukrainians who have lost a limb during Russia's bloody invasion. CBS News Foreign Correspondent Holly Williams visited the center and spoke to two young wounded warriors learning to walk on their new prosthetics. She also heard from American billionaire Howard Buffett, whose foundation funds the center, about what the world can learn from Ukraine's resiliency.

In Sri Lanka, many innocent people are genocide, but the world eye is still blind. They are waiting for the food and justice, but not for hands and legs. I think people need food to live. Sorry for the Ukraine people lose in the war. I heard that Ukraine women pilots are thrown the cluster bombs in 2009. Looks like Karma is doing the boomerang now.

WSJ is describing Zelenskyy mobilization in this way: "Mr. Zelensky in January introduced even harsher punishment for desertion and disobedience. A disabled person was drafted in western Ukraine and pronounced fit for service despite having no hands. Another died on the front lines within a month of mobilization after 10 days of training, according to his relatives." Zelenskyy is officially catching and forced conscripting even disabled (not only army recruiters, but also police, border police, secret police and even municipal authorities are officially hunting for hapless cannon fodder leaving desperate people no chance to escape Zelenskyy goons) . When such people are in the trenches let alone forced to go on the offensive, it's a recipe for disaster. They simply refuse to fight and surrender at the first opportunity.

The Ukrainians are so admirable. But titling this "Superhumans Center" is crazy. Prosthetics have been around for decades. This isn't bionics or android devices.

The superhuman part refers to people overcoming their physical and psychological trauma. The girl cried for two days in the hospital after loosing her leg because she was 19…Most humans donMt have to deal witb what this girl and many other wounded people have to go threw and deal with. This is why these people are superhuman.
