I love this format of content! I've just started training Muay Thai as my first martial art and at first the fights were really hard to understand/analize in terms of points and exchanges in clinch. Good stuff, remember that all techniques are designed to work together so if something seems odd or hard to do mechanically, find out what movements go with the technique.

Superlek has this amazing ability to know when he can commit to attacks. He throws himself off balance so many times trying to line up a huge strike but it doesn't matter because he throws them at the right time where he can't get punished, and when it lands it's full force.

Naito is always send to face monsters and he often loses. I would love to see him in more accurate matches and evolve progressively at One FC. I love his style. well taiki has beaten ONE's average kickboxers and lost to elites. Naito is a good fighter but he hit a wall in his career.

What an amazing fight Gabriel, I had the first round scored for Naito and the second and the third round going to Superlek because of the knockdowns and cut from the elbow and overall a pretty solid Superlek win, I would honestly like to see him fight this year the winner of Takeru and Rodtang! 🎉

Can't say for sure -- could have just been accidental, I've had it happen plenty of times when kicking together with someone, you both start the kick at the same time, one's aiming low, other's aiming higher, and you get the situation where you end up kicking the standing leg. Personally I don't think it was a purposeful trip, just something that happened.

I think if Japanese guy had been more aggressive, he might have won. He took Super Lek to school in the 1st round. I think Japanese due to their post ww2 culture have a hard time being very aggressive. There are exceptions of course but I see it a lot in Japanese fighters.

Hey Gqb, at about 1:20 u discuss about superlek and tenshin and how you would like to watch them either in kb or muay thai, and that you would give the edge to tenshin. I think muay thai vs kb makes a pretty big diff - superlek is a lot stronger in mt with the clinch, knees and elbows. Of course he got to knee in kb against takeru but was more limited in his execution due to the rules (no clinching and kneeing)
