@7.40 Superlek said he got hurt from that kick, he said his body stopped responding for few seconds (delayed-reaction) after the shot on his interview. Love your work as always, from Thailand ❤🙏🏽

It was switch kick to the liver. Most people can't take even 1 liver shot. Superlek ate 2 in this fight I counted. He is tough

@@bluepin3005 agreed..he is real tough and skilled, even though his stamina might seems a lil bit lower than others like Rodtang but he is always smart in the ring. And talking about that second shot + 1 2 to the liver though, he took really deep breath there and honestly I was so worried watching live that day. But at the same time, I also couldn't believe my eyes that Takeru was still coming at Superlek with those legs. 😅

superlek is on a hot streak right now. Defeating rodtang was not an easy endeavor. Haggerty lost to rodtang twice. Superlek and tawanchai best strikers in ONE currently imo. especially Muay Thai ruleset.

Amazing performance from both fighters Gabriel, but I had this bout scored 4 to 1 for Superlek definetly, he was just more dominant and smarter overall, evading shots and all that and just shows how tough he is when he survived that Takeru's swarm of attacks coming at him in the range of 30 seconds to 40 seconds, keep up the great work as always! 🎉

Gabe whenever you decide to retire I think you could be a great commentator! I’d love to watch fights with your amazing awareness and uniquely well rounded views on technique. Too many commentators and viewers are completely focused on the heavy banging and offense but having a technical commentary would be amazing for viewers like me who also love technical kickboxing along with the slugfests

In case you were curious how and why Superlek took that barrage of punches, and why he got clocked in the head - Superlek ate a nasty liver kick at 7:43 and you can clearly see that barrage started after he was concerned another liver shot was coming. Look at what Takeru was throwing, he pieced it together as well.

Fighters usually lose when they go outside the protection of their home promotion. Former ONE champion Ennahachi got knocked out in 30 seconds by a mid chinese kickboxer in WLF. Elias Mahmoudi is a top 5 fighter in ONE but went 0-3 in K-1. Danial Williams is title contender in ONE but was 0-2 in K-1. Both lost to a bunch of Japanese journeymen.
