Too many fans of any group abandon members in their solo projects or other projects just because they're not a favourite member and that's already sad. With SuperM, Exols are abandoning Kai and Baekhyun in something that really REQUIRED fan support from day one. This group was a huge risk simply because fans refuse to see their idols go elsewhere besides what the fans already love. They refuse to see their idols go with other idols who they do not care about. Fandoms are so often against each other so making a new team full of idols from different original teams was a recipe for chaos as soon it was even conceived. And the boys knew that. They knew how fandoms work. They needed their existing fans to walk alongside them. They've been getting hate since hour one. Who is there to defend them? They get exhausted from the challenge and the walls of anger they inevitably get. Who can encourage them? The fans. I didn't follow any other SuperM members in the beginning, only Taemin. I valued his solo. Did I abandon him? No, because why on earth would I abandon my ult bias. I think Taemints that didn't follow Taemin to this are a shame. I'm even unhappy with Shawols that aren't Taemin-biased failing to show up for Taemin's SuperM activities because Shawols are all he's ever had. Of course I expect Shawols to cheer him on and encourage him. Same with Exols. Go with your boys and support them and encourage them and cheer for them or are you their fan, really? You're a fan of the group but not a fan of the man. That's the truth. And that's a shame. You don't even have to love the other SuperM members the same. Or love the music as much. All you have to do is support one of your guys, or two of your guys. I don't think that's asking much.

I wish that all fandom could be brought together. Incredibly, I didn't know EXO or Shinee, but thanks to superM, I got to know them, and now, I love them all. As a Nctzen, I supported this and I will support this incredible project. And I love them not just for having NCT members, but for all of them. They need it, love. It's actually shameful that he has to even mention this. I don't stan EXO, NCT, or WAYv, but I appreciate them and their talent. I'm learning more about them and their groups from SuperM, and I've always supported Taemin's & Kai's friendship. I'm so thankful to be a part of the SHINee fandom, as we usually don't have to deal with this kind of thing. Our boys get their fair share of hate, but I became a SHAWOL because most of our fanbase is more mature after being together going on 13 years, and we understand that with the Korean culture, it's more devastating to get such hate in a culture obsessed with perfection. Therefore, rather than slinging hate, we like to be supportive to other groups, especially those that are friends with our SHINee boys -- like EXO, NCT, and WayV.

I’m a taemin fan but I also really fell for baekhyun a lot through superm. He’s such an amazing leader always making the members laugh to lighten the atmosphere yet never taking the spotlight away from others. He also knows when to be serious and speaks so thoughtfully and genuinely and you can tell he really cares for each of the members and this group very much. They are all so successful and it would have been easy for them to do the bare minimum for superm but they sincerely put so much care and effort into this group too. Baekhyun's face doesn't sit right with me, I hope he was simply having a bad day or was tired and not that the hatred got to him. I got into K-pop in 2017 so I was a late fan but SM male groups immediately became my favorites, I was in love with SuJu, SHINee and EXO right away (got into NCT and WayV too eventually, but they're more out of my age range so I watch them as my children) Maybe it's because I'm older but I do not see the point of bullying the members to make a point to the company, it's childish, immature, and low as a person and honestly it makes me resent the fans who make them feel like this. It's fair to be upset about the timing, it's even fair not to be up to the idea-- but the constant harassment, the hashtags, the hate parties... what makes you better than an anti? It truly makes me so upset that this group's worst enemies are some of their original group's fans. You guys are not doing them any good, you are legitimately hurting them and their hard work and you KNOW they are unable to say it out loud because they cannot alienate their fanbase but they've been clearly trying to say it as politely as possible. but i love how candid baekhyun got because it shows that they do, in fact, see the unnecessary hate they get. it's unbelievable that after an album as super one, where they clearly found their identity and sound as superm he stills feels like they need to prove themselves worthy. Like i'm so dissapointed this era was short lived (and it died a little bit bc of the nct 2020 hype) even tho i'm a nctzen as well, because you can see how much they love this group. if anything, super one shows they weren't 7 random members put together by sm for a fun experiment. i went from hating the idea of superm when they were first announced (I am ashamed to admit) to being alright with them after their debut to absolutely loving them after the super one releases and i hope that other fans will be able to see how hard they work for this and how much they care for superm as a team and for each other. no one has to support it but at least acknowledge their effort or keep them out of your mouths. baekhyun is always checking for fans' reactions and he doesn't deserve to see so much hatred and negativity when all he ever does is work his hardest while at the same time always trying to please fans and make them happy. he really only deserves the best along with all of the other members

I love the fact that many of us believe in supporting superm as a whole team. Being a SHINee fan myself, i can't resist but love each one of them because they are all hardworking people. SHINee exo nct wavy v they are amazing groups individually but together also they are blast and this is the fact but out of love for our favourites some of us are just not ready to give them the love they deserve and this is completely wrong. Beacuse we know that they are working beyond their capacity. They are so busy with superm their home teams their solos. But we just blame their company and then just talk about disbanding which is completely wrong. They didn't come as a team so that they can disband .
