It makes sense during a radio interview that translators aren't standing by so of course the members who are strongest in English are going to speak the most. Mark grew up in Canada so it would be easiest for him to pull the weight in an English interview. I think they're all brave for trying in their second/third language. :)

I think 2 different things are getting muddled. Mark doesn't need praise for speaking English well. It's his native language. What he should be praised for is being such a good spokesman, which is an aspect of public speaking. Native speakers aren't necessarily good public speakers. It's a skill that has to be learned and practiced. Both Mark and Johnny are very, very good public speakers in English. In terms of language learning, it's Ten who deserves praise. English isn't a native language for him, but he communicates very effectively in it.

Wow Brooke did a great job on this interview - the questions are not the same clichéd ones that a lot of other American interviewers/journalists tend to ask K-Pop groups, and it focuses more on their music and what SuperM can bring to the table of K-Pop, as opposed to just pitting them against existing groups, like some other tabloids have already done, and try to twist things into a negative light and sensationalise things. All the members' English skills are amazing, you can tell how hard they worked - so proud not only of my baby Taemin, but of the other members too! Love what they say about having so much respect for one another, and how all of them as a group enables a wide range of possibilities for various projects ☺️

I am a Shawol and I wanted to support SuperM Lee Taemin only at the beginning, now I am here for all. I never wanted to listen to anything aside from SHINee but now I have even downloaded the other member's music and I am truly amazed at how extraordinary and talented the other members are too. I 100% agree there is nothing like them out there for that reason. I feel SuperM is unique as they are bringing people together giving a message of unity and camaraderie wich is not seen in other fandoms.
