I'm a massive Snyder fan. His version of JL is my favorite superhero movie of all time. I got chills watching this trailer. It will be the first movie I watch in the theaters in years. Quality is quality regardless.

we are not a monolith so you can not speak for us all. 1. you can like both superman and the snyder films, they arent mutually exclusive. 2. just because you are a superman fan and like this no dialogue, shallow pretty people fest doesnt mean the rest of us who love superman also liked it. it gave me NOTHING. not hate, not love, APATHY. the only emotion i felt was annoyance at the dog bit. "lets pull on the heartstrings cause "everyone" loves dogs" barf yuck NO. so fake. once they give a REAL trailer with dialogue and story context, then and only then can i say this is a film i want to see. going by surface level COVER? no thank you. not interested in superboy and the teen league. they all look waaaaaaay too young for my tastes. give me folks in their late 30s to late 40s. super skinny lex??????????????????????????????????????????? girl bye. fatphobia!

All Star Superman and For All Seasons specifically seem to be a direct influence on this film and those are FANTASTIC Superman books.

I know that people are worried about there being more than just Superman in the movie with Guy Gardner and Hawk Girl, but James Gunn is so good with writing a team ensamble that I'm not worried. It definitely looks like it's gonna have a "GotG but on Earth with a solid bit if drama" vibe from all the camera work, colors, etc. but that's not a bad thing since it's sort of - for better or worse - a James Gunn staple.

I handle employees, scheduling, post production, curation of content, editing, pay roll, taxes of a small business and all that. I've only just gotten my workload down to 45/hrs a week. This is like saying a cook in a kitchen didn't slaughter the cow so it's not a job making a burger. makes no sense. I'm a feature film and music video director and live event videographer. So I make "my own" content too and there's not shortage of labor on either end. And from the lack of humility of this comment I can safely vouche I've worked harder at all of those things than any real job you've ever held. I can feel the GenX wafting off of this comment lol.
