Part of Clark and Lois's dynamic is how Clark uses his own personal experiences as Superman to beat her to the byline. So he can afford to be a little self-grandstanding, and if Lois is in the know about his identity then they can actually tease each other over it playfully. The photos by Jimmy and Lex only getting a slight mention help establish this universe quite well. And while we can't get the best look at the suit in the photos, it does look like it should appear more fitting when in action. I'm also just glad we are getting a kind of 'more powerful than a locomotive' bit in this film. Also, I just looked through this again and when it said Luthor won the 'Arcane Award' wheels began to turn. I'm thinking that might be a reference to Anton Arcane, the mad scientist archenemy of Swamp Thing, another hero we will see in the DCU.

The best thing about Cavill's Superman suit was the designs. I loved the designs on Cavill's suit. But it's the blue color that threw me off. It was too dark and when it got dirty, it looked even worse. This suit however has a lighter blue but still slightly dark from the 90s animated series and when it's dirty it not as bad either. So I like that. I just want a clearer image. The trunks look big, though.

I'd recommend just celebrating this movie for what it shows rather than trying to tare down another movie to try and boost the other.

@@OurMovieNews All I'm saying is that 'Man of Steel' is a good movie, but it feels like it lacks the storytelling side of Clark Kent, focusing more on Superman instead. In this version of Superman, it obviously tackles Clark's life more in Metropolis. It can't go wrong if it has the whole cast of the Daily Planet behind it. Therefore I can already say that this will be the real Superman movie
