To clear the confusion, this show was basically retconned. They live in a different universe from Earth Prime. That’s why Jimmy Olsen and some other characters look different.

That’s one thing Smallville never addressed, Clark feeling guilty having to lie or gaslight everyone into thinking THEY are “crazy” just to keep his secret. The focus was always on him keeping his secret being the “greater good” that’s more important. The only things he ever had to “sacrifice” was his relationship with Lana, and playing football 🙄

23:14 I saw sombody ask why did they cut to him being in the full costume, like he got undressed in front of everyone in superspeed?😂 Why not just have his shirt open, with the “S” underneath? But the way they did it, it’s like “Clark Kent” was just an “illusion” everyone was seeing en mass, but now the illusion is gone, and they see him as “Superman” now. It was funny, but a good storytelling decision visually.

22:24 he was done the moment the gun went off. i mean i was thinking if he caught the bullet, did a Reeves thing but using his fingers to dig deep into his body so it looks like he got shot but not too deep to look like he punched himself and definitely not too close to his heart. that's just my thinking because any other way the moment that gun was fired would have been a confirmation...unless he does a reverse flash and has himself there and superman. but i love this show and i'm glad they didn't pull any cheap stuff like that. the entire world knowing who he is has never been done live action. what is cw doing cancelling this show

@@tranquilk5912 the beotching about the varying quality of the Arrowverse shows reached a fever pitch to the point WB and CW decided to just be done with ALL of the shows (including this one) as it was dragging down the WB/DC as well as the CW. When people joke about a tv show being soo bad “it’s like a CW show”- it’s likely the Arrowverse shows they were referring to. So something had to be done, it was time… Yes, this has been a great show, good quality, but unfortunately, too little, too late

For some reason, WB never likes having two versions of characters, so with upcoming films on the slate, the TV show had to go. I truly wish It wasn't so - I never saw the point of Superman, but after watching this I finally _understand_ why he's so awesome.
