Imagine in a Plot Twist that while Jordan inherits Superman's exact powers, John as a side effect of being half human-half alien instead develops Reality Warping/Manipulation Powers. My idea is that he would get these powers and learn how to use them right around the time that the Superman villian Mr. Mxyzptlk horrifically appears in Smallville, resulting in only John being his only threat.

It is bewildering how many people comment on every video posted from this show about Jonathan getting powers. The writers have shown in so many ways that Jonathan has no powers, that his human genes are dominant. Even in the promo posters, it's always Jordan on Superman's side and Jonathan on Lois' side, to represent that they each take after a different parent. Jonathan is not getting powers. Sheesh.

I remember in the comics a long time ago, they tried to explain why Superman's costume/cape never seemed to be damaged. Something about being so close to his body or something and some kind of "aura" surrounds him, thus preventing damage. It seemed kind of lame and I think I've seen his costume damaged since then, but there you go.
