That why his heath breath blast looks different to superman's heat vision.Did you not watch season 3, And this version of doomsday CANT die his new ability because its from bizarro world which is opposite of superman world like a mirror . we die they don't in bizarro world and domsday was shown fighting steel in a new promo.

Pretty sure he actually rips our a shard of what I believe is x-kryptonite from doomsday shoulder and stabs him in the chest you see it get absorbed/healed in the next shot of doomsday. Also I am thinking that last blast is the newer superman technique called a supernova that is a complete draining of the solar energy in their cells in a single blast, its been in comics and even in supergirl a couple of times.

Doomsday in this universe is the alternate Superman transformed so yes his powers are increased, but on the comics, if you remember, Superman had to put him into a Reactor that drains him completely to kill him I think his mother at the fortress of solitude creates him a new suit at least that’s what it seems possible

Good fight seen, but still makes no sense. Superman should be much more powerful in space than on earth, as he is closer to the yellow sun than on earth. We have seen in season 2 when Superman became Superman prime by absorbing yellow sun rays. If there is time when he should go Superman prime, this it. An adversary that deserves to be defeated in such a demise. It’s like Superman totally forgets what he’s capable of from his past battles.

Am the only person bothered by this, the season 3 fight was 6 mins long, this is half that and the fight in s4 probably wont be as long so it's spoiling maybe two thirds of the biggest scene in the season, I'll watch it when the show releases.

That would actually make it more interesting. If Clark returns wearing his recovery black suit, they would freak out believing him to be the evil variant. It would take a lot of time to convince them and put them at ease.

@@TheCapedKryptonion Trailers can be misleading. Jordon says he trying to track something we assume to be Doomsday, but it could be something else. We know the asteroid explodes due to the collision of Superman and Doomsday but we don't know how Superman's body gets back to Earth. We know Superman's body returns to Smallville since Lois is kneeling over his body, but it would seem weird if Doomsday brought back his body and then flew off again. My theory is Superman does kill Doomsday in space at the cost of his own life, not being close enough to a yellow sun to recharge. His body is later found by John Henry Iron's in space who ignored Superman's instructions to stay away and went to get his suit soon after. That's how Superman's body returns to Smallville. It can't be Jordon who retrieves him since it appears he stayed with Jonathan and Lois during the fight. Of course there would be no sign of Doomsday if his body was completely incinerated by Clarks Solar Flare. But no one else would know that, leading to them thinking Doomsday is still alive. Jordon then begins tracking something he believes to be Doomsday, with the plot twist being it's something else.

So you have never watched Superman and Lois then? Otherwise you would know that this show is so much more than "Strength, Powerhouse Action, Destruction, Slowmo, and a Generic Monster". Its a grounded show that focuses very much on family and Clark balancing being a loving Husband and Father whilst also being the World's Greatest (and only) Hero, and the overcoming difficulties that come with both.
