Basically a guy tries to kill Clark because he figured out he committed a crime, and he hides for the next few days, making it seem like he did die. But near the end, he returns and saves Lois. Firstly flash couldn’t phase through superman. After all superman can counter phase. Even if he did superman is still indestructible, flash wouldn’t do anything. Superman is immune to reality manipulation. Mazo from dcau wouldn’t even scale close to the current incarnation of Superman.

Actually, Superman's bio-matrix-thing that makes him able to fly and hurt bullets and move people at superspeed without lasting damage and hear stuff before the sound hits him and see stuff before the light bounces off of it makes him unable to get dirty. His powers unironically make it impossible for him to be caught, except on that one day he doesn't have powers, which feels ironic.
