The only thing I really did not like about this Superman picture reveal is the S on the suit. I am not digging this modern S shape look, cause to me, it doesn't not give me Superman look. I always love the ones where the S looks like a S...like back in the Christopher Reeves ones. But otherwise from the S shape on the suit....it's ok. If you take a good look at those other inspiration shots from Alex Ross and such, you will notice that his neck line is more open and his sleeves are riding higher almost like his costume is a size smaller because it can't contain him... He is bigger than his costume both literally and figuratively... Long sleeves and turtle necks make the subject seem slouchy and uncomfortable. Remember the 80's/90's Captain America movie where Steve Rogers was wearing a turtleneck the whole time because it was there to hide the muscle pads? That's what this guy looks like. Weak and uncomfortably less noble..... and why do his boots look designed by a.i. and 3D printed?
