Even if it looks shitty, maybe that's the point, Because for years, we've all been ragging on the fact that all it takes is glasses and a business suit to convince everyone that he's not Superman, but the whole point is that he effects a dorky personality that makes people unsuspicious And dismissive specifically so they don't put two and two together, But given this is set in the modern era, despite the more classical optimistic aesthetics and tone, they counted that any one could instantly look past the glasses, so he probably styles his hair specifically like that to further throw it off I mean, maybe he *knows* that the zoomer broccoli cut sucks ass, And that's specifically WHY he uses it, no one is going to take him seriously because of it, and therefore they're never gonna be eyeballing him and say "Oh my God, that dork's Superman! What, did he really think glasses we're going to hide that chiseled chin and broad physique?

I grew up with reruns of the George Reeves SUPERMAN TV show. He did little to hide the fact that Superman was Clark without glasses. When the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN movie came out 1978 I loved how he portrayed Clark as a doofus. That to me is the version I want to see. DC claims that Kal El can move his molecules to look different but I will wait to see film this Summer before I judge. I'm pretty excited!!!

Superman/Clark Kent always had curly hair. He was modeled after Jerry Siegel, after all. David Corenswet naturally has curly hair, so hair/makeup decided to keep it.

Clark has to show himself as a mild-mannered nerdy reporter, nearly the opposite of everything that Superman embodies. So, let's talk about that lamp in the scene at the 40 second mark. So retro! Loving the color of that coffee cup in the same scene!!! Any hate or love on those items? They got the character right, drop it! Let's enjoy the movie.
