I imagine you don't like getting rocked that many times but it's really interesting to watch you change and adjust your game plan as you are going through the different matches. There are often times in the past that it appears you go with your gameplan it works and you just keep rolling, for the most part. So like Ed is really fun to watch, still is, always has been in my opinion, but man I swear every time I watch Ed nowadays every single one is just fishing for the dream combo. Ed players would rather lose the round than secure a win, its just really funny to me, everyone wants the twitter clip.

He just doesn’t really have any distinguishing traits that would make you pick him, he plays the same kinda Shoto game as Akuma or Ken… while not having the “We ball” options that Akuma and Ken have

It still kills me that Terry's HP in this game is basically nothing like the move originally. About the only thing they got right was that it's a 2 hitter, otherwise it might as well be a completely different normal.

Same can be said for nearly every heavy version as well though. Don't remember crackshoot being a 3 hitter 🤣

@@21Handguns Depends on the game, in some games it absolutely is but it's not generally reasonable to get all 3 hits. In 98 for example, you'll only get a 3 hit regularly when it hits as an anti air. Or if you pick EX Terry in UMFE, you can do Fire Kick cancel the first hit into Crack Shoot for a 4 hit combo (and then in Extra, Quick Max cancel the last hit of Crack Shoot to link off of it, but that's not in the scope of this discussion).

Oh come on, when Necalli was first shown off and they popped the V trigger?! GLOWING RED HAIR THE SIZE OF A PERSON?! Shit was hype, Akuma step aside this dude is fire......and then we saw his story prevalence and he was comical. They gotta rework him or something, say he was a prisoner of a spirit and now he's back to throw hands for the thrill of the fight while talking shit. We might even be able to have his giant glowing hair not look stupid with this games physics!

I still hesitate to call Terry "bad", but I feel he is pretty easy to play against, just based off of system mechanics, and stuff that you would expect from a fighting game. By which I mean, DI is pretty good against him, a lot of his "setplay" is kind of easy to see (for now), and it is fairly reasonable to make them misplace a burn knuckle to be punishable (compared to something like scissor kicks), while also getting meaningful punishes. A lot of stuff with gaps too, that isn't too bad to react to. That said, probably the only character in the game that doesn't annoy me to fight lol.

He has the same movement as Ken/Ryu. His forward walk is .048 compared to Ryu’s .047 so Terry is actually faster.

28:30 you can sub OD burn knuckle for the DR and get 5270 damage for one less meter. That said, I'll probably switch to your route, dropping that one frame link into an Unsafe move is not fun and yours does more damage. Only really matters in that circumstance that you have one less bar to spend initially

Every time a terry wants to combo into HP from range, they should just fire kick target combo instead. Terry doesn't get to have the privileged normals or even the damage 😢
