A little trick I learned if a Tesco has an ANPR camera and a maximum time parking if you tell customer service you’ve broken down and are waiting for the AA or RAC they’ll put your reg into their system and give you 24 hours 👀😂 worked for me the other week in Cambridgeshire.

Dude, that bed looks amazing! Way better than the one in my minivan - though that one is hella comfortable so no complaints - and just as good as the one in my bedroom, which was crazy expensive. If they have mattresses 24 inches wide or less, I might have to get one. In all my years doing vanlife, and watching vanlife on KZbin, I've never seen one person eat leaves or grass. I've seen you do it 3 times in a year or less. Dude, you'll do anything not to eat a vegetable won't you? 😂 Hopefully your kitchen will be the turning point for cooked vegetation - even grass might taste ok if you saute it in broth and season it right 😂 - and the same insane adventures. Hugs.

I lost my apartment and doggo while i was in the hospital earlier this year with blood poisoning and bacterial endocarditis. I had to have open heart surgery too, and I'm only 29. My grandpa died 2 days before my surgery, and i got a nissan nv200 as inheritance. I can't find an apartment, there are long queues for city apartments, and im currently living on the couch of my friend. Im really interested in this van life thing, i found myself a free bed from a trash pallet (checked for bedbugs etc, it was nearly brand new, some landlord was emptying an apartment that someone hadnt paid for) and I've slept there a few times already. I cant stay at my friend's couch forever, and i'd love to prepare for a possible north european winter in my van while i still can, and have a place to stay.. So where do i start? Im completely broke too, i only get like 400€ / month that i have to use for food and other basics, like "rent" for my friend for being able to stay here. Any advice would be super helpful.

Sorry to hear you’re going through a tough time. It’s a difficult one. Because as much as van life can be cheaper than living in an apartment, it still costs a fair bit in fuel etc if you’re planning to travel as well as live in it. Hopefully you manage to sort something though!

Great video again. What airfryer are you using and how many watts does it draw? I am thinking of getting one and using my Ecoflow Delta 2 to power it. I also cook on a small George Foreman grill that I bought in the prime sale the other week. It only draws 620 watts even when heating up from cold so I can do a few meals on it before it needs recharging. One of your other videos inspired me to get the Delta 2 although I will need to get a backup battery for it at some point.

Any van with windows in the sliding door screams camper. I’ve got a vivaro van kitted out, solar panel on the roof, and sign written with a fake business name and website park that anywhere it just looks like a van

My van is a camper, and looks like one too, 30 years old. It's my only vehicle and I use it like a car. It's tall but less than 5 meters long. The only place I don't park it is anywhere with height restrictions or where signs say no overnight camping. I've never ever found it difficult to find a Good overnight parking space, I can find a park up almost anywhere within 10 minutes. I'd have no problems either in a carpark like Asda, I've already slept in a Tesco carpark. My friend got a knock on his van/camper (plain White van) by the Police, wondering what he was doing there, they were fine about it when they found out it was a camper but hey! I'f someone reports a strange van in the area, the Police will knock the door it seems. If I was going stealth like you, I'd probably have large signs on the sides and back saying Pest Control or Septic Tank and Sewage Relocation, painted on it. Poison, Smell, and sh*t on the sign basically should keep even the dirtiest rotten thieves away 🤣 It also screams NO TOOLS OR VALUABLES HERE! The van may not even feel desirable to you after that though 😆 You could go the magnetic sign route so you can basically fit in anywhere, Pull them off and replace or expose something that's below, there's many options. My next van will probably be of that nature tbh, blocking out all my windows is a pain, I'd miss them too though, that's why so far, there's no perfect van in my books; we give up one thing for another Thecrazyvaclav 👍 The Vivaro is a great van, I've been looking at them for a couple of years; Nice and boxy. They need a bit of a modification in the engine Bay to stop rain water collecting in the injector bays apparently and the gearboxes are soft too; It's the only thing that's put me off getting one at the moment.
