Jensen Ackles is such an amazing actor! I love the scene with him and Mary in this episode, it’s just so pure and emotional and Jensen can really tap into Dean’s state of mind after everything they’ve been through. This was what Amara (the darkness) at the end of season 11 was getting at when she brought Mary back - so Dean could have this moment with her. Prepare yourselves for the finale! Season 13 is amazing!

Such amazing performances in this episode! Jared/Sam killing that speech and leading the hunters into battle and Jensen/Dean talking to Mary and about his brother and his relationship to both of them. Chills both times! They're just such awesome actors! After all these years both their work can still take my breath away! I love it! ♡

I love Jensen so much, he is such an amazing actor, apparently during that scene Dean wasn't supposed to be crying, Jensen got into it and felt all of that and cried because of it. You guys asked at the beginning of this season why bring back Mary and not Bobby or someone else, this is the exact reason why, Deep down Dean held resentment to his mother for leaving them abandoned, he never got the chance to forgive her, this is what Dean, 'Needed'. Need is what Amara said, and he did, he needed to forgive her.

I hated Season 12 as a whole, but there were some good bits and pieces/episodes. This episode is a bright spot. The BMoL are just a bunch of Dicks. They obviously hate Hunters. The American Men of Letters didn't seem to like Hunters either - from the little we've seen on them over the seasons. The shows take on the BMoL was poorly done overall - it could have been done better, but would have been hard since they never touched on the BMoL - ever - over the season's. Bringing them in this season was so random and left a lot of unanswered questions. At least the last part of this season is better than the rest. Largely because we're seeing the end of the BMoL's in America. I hope!

“I hate you”. Jensen killed it. The only redeeming moment of season 12 as far as I’m concerned. Thank the lord they got shot of the BMoL. Sam taking the lead was just so stupid and artificial. That’s not how the Winchester’s work. They work together, they don’t put one forward just for the sake of it to give him his ‘moment’. Dumb. This whole season was dumb. Thank Chuck for Season 13. I would have hated for them to go out on this rubbish. I really hope you go on to react to s13 - sooooo much better! Love your reactions anyway.

Sam and Dean had to split up since one of them had to deal with Mary. And I was proud of Sam for stepping up as a leader, something that has been long overdue.

Sophie Filo the finale of this season SUCKED. Almost every single episode in this season sucked. It's the 2nd worst season of SPN,with s7 being the absolute worst season of the show

Sophie Filo I liked s13 a lot. Tbh,it's my 2nd favourite season with s5 still remaining my all time favourite. S13's first half was amazing but then in the second half it got just ok but towards the end I loved it. Especially the finale,best finale since s8. It was excellent

Sophie Filo Could you please tell me why you found this season disappointing in some ways? Personally,I found it a little bit disappointing in some ways because:1)We saw a lot of Jack moments and him growing up into a better person a lot in the first,but in the 2nd half the writers completely forgot about him. They did absolutely nothing with him 2)So much potential with Gabriel goes into waste because he died..again 3)I kinda wanted redemption for Lucifer because he changed a lot but the writers ignored that. Sam left lucifer back into the other world in the penultimate episode making him evil again because he also couldn't have his son. 4)Evil Kaia from 'the bad place' never came back. Other than that I liked the season. Just my opinion
