Yeh I'm def Dean... I like Sam, but I'm more attracted to Dean and his personality jives with me more. There are things that Dean does that gets on my nerves, but Sam gets on my nerves more with all his sensitivity. However, I never thought of them as 1 vs the other as they are a package.

Ah, yes. A classic episode. The Trickster. Honestly one of the funniest episodes they've seen so far. Probably one of the best of season 2. Top 10, at least. Anyways, I think we all loved this episode deeply, and with that, instead of "Fuck Eric Kripke," I say- Love Eric Kripke. Period. It doesn't have to be Sam vs. Dean, but the Dean stans are definitely not toxic. I prefer to think of us as loyal and loving. It never has to be Team Dean or Team Sam, but of course, Team Winchester, but we can still like Dean as much as necessary without it being toxic.

Is ok to have a favourite, hell, I have Sam as my favourite. The problem is in putting Sam down and Dean in a pedestal all the time. Comparing them saying "Dean Is The Best, Period". That's the issue, not people having a favourite, but seeing their favourite as the best as a Fact, not as a Preference. I love Sam with all my heart, but I never say "He is the Best Brother/Character, Period", I simply like him the most.
