She was constantly thinking about him/asking about him/looking for him & it made it easy for Greely to catch her She was attached to David & letting him go is how she moved on (I personally think she let go when she decided not to go into the house, before that point she was ready to traumatize her husband despite knowing she was a ghost & he'd had 15yrs to mourn her)

It's a time loop for Molly and Greely. Molly was attached to David, and Greely was attached to Molly. In order for Greely to be defeated, his bones needed to be burned. In order for Molly to accept she was a spirit, she needed to see David was alive and well, and accept that she needed to move on. Every year for 15 years on that one day, the spirits came back because of the time loop that surrounded their spirits. The other victims that crashed or and died never became spirits they simply moved on right away cause they didn't hold on tight to anything. Molly held on very tight to David, Greely held on tightly for revenge on Molly. The survivors on the crashes that the two caused described what they seen to cause them to crash in the first place. Sam and Dean was already on the case, and had to be on that road on that particular day/night to figure out the Supernatural of the week.

I think it was her attachment to her husband and not knowing that she's dead but also the old man's pissed off spirit latched himself onto her and wouldn't let her go. Hence she was stuck in a loop replaying the night of her death. With Sam and Dean getting rid of the old man's ghost and she finally knowing the truth, she could now go in peace.

I think people don’t understand what toxic behavior actually is. Toxic behavior is someone putting down someone to make someone else seem more important or like what they do matters more, not simply praising someone. Toxic behavior is also projecting your own biases by saying “oh why can’t you say the same about so and so? Why does it always have to be about this person?”. Everyone has a bias and nothing is wrong with that. As long as Davion or any of the other guys isn’t putting down someone to build someone else up, then praising your favorite is more than fine. This generation needs to stop misusing the words “toxic”, “overrated” and “abusive”. PLEASE.

Just 2 examples of Sam being awesome is literally saving Dean from dying in S1 when he got electrocuted and his heart was giving out, and now in this episode Sam literally saved the day with his knowledge. Molly and David crashed into Grealey in 1992. Molly died but David survived. Every year Molly had to experience the car crash, finding Grealey and escaping from him. She never remembers that every year he catches her and tortures her. In this episode she happened to run into Sam and Dean as they were on their way to stop Grealey. They were there because Molly ends up causing car crashes when she runs into the road. When they stopped the killer ghost Molly finds out that she had been dead for over 15 years and that David already said goodbye to her. Her attachment wasn't to Grealey but to her husband David. Once she had let go of him she moved on to the after life.

She was attached to her husband because she wanted to make sure that he was okay. Spirits either stay because of revenge or because they don't want to leave their loved ones behind. So when she realized that he was safe and starting a new journey without her, she finally let go and was put to rest.

Team Winchester all the way! I keep saying that you can't stan one without stanning the other. Despite the awesome plot twist at the end, this episode didn't really stand out to me. Felt more like a filler episode to push the season along more than anything else. Like it didn't have anything to do with the main storyline. Nathan's reaction to realizing exactly what episode this was was great. The plot twist reaction was on point. Can't wait to get to the end of season 2. I'm excited to see that. Waiting patiently for the next video! The next episode is probably one of the best of the whole season. Great job guys!

S2 ep10-17 have absolutely no misses! And I agree that Davion called it, whether the trickster woke up or the corpse was an illusion are semantics. At the end of the day Davion said the trickster wasn't dead & he wasn't! He called it!
