This eposide is classic because of misha's acting " castiel" he took two characters and we see the difference between them.. Jimmy's back story is really tragic 💔

So close to season 5! What I always found interesting in this episode is that Jimmy and his wife were religious people who believed in God. However, when Jimmy started to talk about Cas, angels, and being chosen, his wife thought he was crazy. She saw him elbow deep in a pan of boiling water and he didn’t have a mark on him. If you are religious, wouldn’t that be a sign? I’m not a religious person, despite coming from a heavily Catholic family. I find it funny that you are supposed to have faith in an unseen God but when proof of something more was presented to her, she went straight to trying to medicate Jimmy because he must have been crazy.

A person goes on trial, where "The State" insists that you swear on a bible and says God told them to do it, now they're not competent to stand trial, ironic huh?

@@samuelmiller4964 one of many reasons I couldn’t buy in to organized religion. My mother was raised as a strict Catholic. Church, prayer, Sunday school, communions, and Catholic school up to high school. Thankfully, I never had to deal with that. I just never understood the hypocrisy of it all. I do love how this show rides the rails of old school religious beliefs but twists it so it’s not quite how you expected it to be. Like angels, they are supposed to be kind and full of love (or something) but here they are dicks who mostly hate humanity and kill without discretion.

When you called Jimmy Cas's meatsuit... Angels refer to their hosts as vessels. Only demons call theirs meatsuits. Which, to me, implies that the angels care about their vessels...? yeah, I don't know. But yeah, angels have vessels, demons have meatsuits. Anyway, great reaction!

I mean, we’ve seen that most angels don’t care about their vessels.

You're practically the only channel I watch in that I hit the "like" button on at the beginning of the video, rather than doing it after having watched most of it. Honestly, I already know I'm going to enjoy your reaction. You're always invested, reasoned and insightful, and genuine. :)

You were so close to getting to what Ruby wass really doing to Sam in that post episode discussion with how rare she's been around lately.

This was a huge episode to me. Getting to know the vessel of Cass was a very interesting journey. It was also the first time Dean saw Count Dracula 🧛♂️ in action. The only good thing that came out of it was saving Jimmy’s wife. Cass getting permission from Claire was epic, smiting everything in sight. Is it funny how Sam looks cracked out when he has no demon 🩸. But when he’s juiced up his chest is out, his hair is neat and he looks cleaner, 😂. Calling Ruby looking for it was pretty serious. Him trying to exorcise that demon and he almost fell out, that was hilarious. Jimmy got the shaft! Bobby and Dean putting Sam in demon 🩸 detox was pretty serious. You’re almost there, you’ll love it 😍!

This is literally my favorite episode in this season, misha did a fantastic job differentiating between cas and jimmy, Jimmy's story is a real tragedy 😭, cas getting dragged to heaven and reprogrammed 😭 yet even when he was in Claire's body, the first thing he did was to save dean, poor cas, while I don't agree with what Sam is doing, if he didn't drink that demon's blood, he wouldn't be able to exorcise the demon out of Jimmy's wife with out killing her, then Claire wouldn't have any parents, it's a sticky situation, I can see both sides, amazing reaction as usual 😍👏.

I mean, they could have exorcised her the old fashioned way.
@HasnaaAlaa4 жыл бұрын
@@Amm1ttai I guess if they had her tied up to a chair inside a demon trap like they did with meg then maybe, but in the heat of a fight they stand no chance with the exorcism, if she jumped out of the body before they send her to hell, the demon could come back again and kill the family or something, or maybe they could have exorcise it the old fashion way, I don't know, I guess Sam's way is the one with the higher chance of saving the wife.

I read a fan fiction about Claire that she became obsessed with Cas after this and spent years trying to get Cas to possess her again. It was pretty dark. Love the ending of thus episode.

I personally think what dean and bobby did to sam was horrible. Like, they have the right to not agree with him but they don't have the right to trap him in there. Sam can make his own choices, isnt't free will kind of the whole point?

I think it was similar to an intervention when you have a loved one who's addicted to heroin or something. Something they are addicted to so much that they can't nor want to stop on their own, but it's eating them from the inside, chnging their personality and eventually will kill them.
