None of you were remembering the Woman in White's interaction with Sam properly. Yeah, she seemed to only kill men that were unfaithful, but when she was gonna kill Sam, he told her "You can't kill me, I haven't been unfaithful", and her exact words were "You *will* be" before she climbed onto his lap. And the that combined with her tone of voice, IMO insinuated that she was planning to FORCE Sam to be unfaithful first.

Cameron, Sam did have an episode named after him called "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester" in season 4, episode 7. This is the second episode to be named after Dean (the first was "Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester" season 4, episode 2). The title of this episode is also a nod to the 2008 film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" starring Brad Pitt. I have to give kudos to the actor Chad Everett (R.I.P) who played older Dean. His mannerisms, his facial expressions, everything was spot on. It really felt like Dean as an older man. And him and Bobby together? The duo we all needed. It was also a nice change of pace for Bobby and Dean's father and son moment at the end. Usually, their moments like this are all tough love, but this could be considered more heart to heart. Dean stepped up and gave Bobby what he needed after experiencing what it's like to be an older person and hearing Bobby being suicidal. I agree with Sam that these witches were different. Compared to how witches are usually portrayed, it was unusual (in a good way) to see witches that have compassion. Like what Patrick did for the old guy and Lia crying thinking that Sam had lost, it was another moment that was a nice change of pace, but also stuck with the theme of the show that not all things that are considered monsters are the same.

I know I’ve said this more than once, but I love Davion and Cam’s brotherly relationship. Davion messing with Nathan, talking ridiculousness, but Cam is ready to play the game too, all without saying a word. Too funny and great facial expressions.

Whenever Supernatural has a filler episode, it's usually a hit or miss, or it's right in the middle. This one was definitely a hit to me. Remarkable episode. I agree that Patrick was really likeable, for the enemy of the episode. Dammit Bobby. How'd you wind up losing 25 years, ya idjit? Old man Dean is great. And spot on casting, because that actor really looks like how an ancient Dean would look. I live for the elderly comedy between old Dean and Bobby. Grumpy Old Men has indeed never looked better. Lia giving them the reverse spell was unexpected, but I admire her change of heart, and that her heart was in the right place. Sam played his A-game towards the end there, tricking Patrick like that. He's a master convincer, and his poker face isn't half bad. At this point in the show, Pat and Lia's ending shined a new light for me on the monsters they face, and how their stories usually end. Or at least the nice monsters. Dean giving Bobby an inspirational talking to, as usual. You can't have a Supernatural episode, especially a filler, without a meaningful conversation at the end. Beautiful. Just a quick heads up; next episode is my personal favorite of this season, so I truly can't wait for that! Great reaction guys, REALLY hyped for the next! 💯🔥

I want to know why the dead guy was playing in the first place. He was only 25 in real years! If he won, he would have been an infant! The actor that played Dean was from the old days & played a sexy doctor on tv back in the 70's. It was cool to see him again. He passed 3 years after he did this episode. I really like Patrick. He's not a cheat, just a witch. It was great of Dean to give Bobby a pep talk. But to someone with depression, a talk like that is just nice. He's still in the chair & can' t do what he used to. He's ok when he's engaged & active. But when the boys are out on a hunt & he isn't doing research or something for them, he is doing nothing, alone with his thoughts, & just sitting. Hunting was all he knew. He needs to feel good about himself & WANT to do something. But Dean had to try because he loves him. I would play Texas Hold'em with Patrick in a hot minute. I'm not good at it & I don't care about the years but he is HOT as hell! Maybe he would have pity on me! LOL! I like that they had a likeable monster-of-the-week. Great reaction guys!
