Ive been to Niseko, half a dozen times in the last 20 years and Rusutsu a couple. Rusutsu is so much better for snowboarders and the tree runs have the best spaced trees of all. I love it there. Hey Kevin, the boards you ride look so much smaller in length and a lot wider than I would normally have chosen. If I was on a 165+, it looks like you are riding a 150 to 155cm board and 280 wide. Great Japan videos !
@SnowboardProCamp5 жыл бұрын
I'm riding a 159 Orca. MY height at 6'3" might make the board look short. The extra width is fun in the powder. I'll have to try out some longer pow boards too!

Awesome video as usual. Little hack that hopefully works: I noticed the flickering when filming in the shop with non natural light (coming from lamps). If you reduce the FPS it should not be visible anymore! which settings you usually use on the Gopro for getting your outdoor footage?

Hey im not sure if you will read this but i just started snowboarding and i've done it like 6 times and i started to get the turning right but sometimes i get way too much speed and panic making me try to hit the breaks and just fall or on my back or my front. it's rought for me in such small spaces where i cant do side to side turns since there's more people coming. Any tips?
@vitalhostage17195 жыл бұрын
Do you ride goofy or regular? You'll always find when you start snowboarding that it's easier to turn one way than the other. So don't panic it's completely normal. Remember the basics are the key, so learning to control speed is an absolute must to keep you and everyone around you safe. Then just keep practicing. Set small goals like performing a turn on your comfortable side then stop the try you uncomfortable side then stop to see what's causing the worry on your less comfortable side. Normally it's doing stuff that feels a bit alien like keeping your weight over the front of the board because you naturally want to stand upright on a slope which means you incorrectly put too much weight on your back foot and whooosh you're off like rocket.
@theperciousgodyt43195 жыл бұрын
steven johnson I feel better by riding regular (left foot on the front )

Will shooting things in 50hz/fps help the flickering when shooting indoors? Since the electricity there flickers at 50hz e.g. exporting at 1080p50 as well

@@inmotion_snow ah i see, is it out of the boundary? or is it between boundary and heavenly view? (assuming your talking about the very left side of the trail map) the cat track walks all the way back to isloa no.4 quad? Thanks so much!
@inmotion_snow5 жыл бұрын
@@itskearny yes go via Heavenly view and stick to the right side on the piste. after you pass a small mount on your right side there will be some tracks dropping into the zone to your immediate right. once in, traverse right and then just drop whenever you see the fresh goods. cat track is super mellow hike, about 8mins and then either walk all the way to the piste or traverse left on your board onto the piste. then ride all the way down to the far quad chair to repeat process :)
