Really hope the Japan trip becomes a yearly thing! Definitely wanting to go on your trip next season! If we hadn’t already locked in trips for this season, I 100% would be there this year 🤣🤪

Out of curiosity, roughly what would it cost to take a trip like that to Japan once you are there for lodging, transportation, food, lift tickets. Things like that. How many cheddar biscuits do I need to stack up before considering a trip like this?
@sbespn3820

Probably around $1,500 for a week if you booked things a few months in advance.

This season will be my 3rd time in Niseko. A 5 day pass will cost around $350. You can get a pod style bed or a bunk bed for around $60 a night. For food you can live off the 7-11 or the Lawson for $20 or $30 a day. $1500 as the other commenter said is a good number. They have free shuttles that will take you around Niseko United. If you want to night ski you would need to catch local transportation to get back to your accommodation because cheap lodging is a 20 min drive from the main resort. If you don’t night ski then most accommodations have a shuttle during the day.

@@jamescash2734 3k USD for 1 week, flight's another $900 USD. 3900 USD for 1 week vs 2200 USD for 2 weeks, you get the math.

I tried to book a longer stay in Niseko/furano but December is definitely too late to find something in Kutchan or really anywhere close to resorts in Hokkaido. There aren't any options other than getting a car or stay in 8 ppl bunkbed room but maybe I'm too spoiled by European resorts. The snow conditions look amazing although i know last week the resort closed due to lack of snow. Hopefully you have a good season there. I'll have to try my luck with Japan powder next year.

Im currently trying to decide between the Rome ravine and the bataleon whatever and Ive found them pretty similar. I would appreciate it if you would compare them, also would be a good video idea.

Are you riding the deep daze in this? Any reason for switching out from the archetype?
@BoardArchive
@BoardArchive Жыл бұрын
I am! No particular reason. I brought the Bataleon Cruiser, Archetype, and Deep Daze along so just wanted to spend some time on all 3. Deep Daze definitely punched above is weight class. It will show up more in some future videos coming soon.

@@BoardArchiveglad to hear, I always go back and forth on finding one used. One one hand, I’d probably only get to use it a handful of times every year, but haven’t heard a bad review of it yet (outside of the pain in the ass it is to wax it)
@BoardArchive

It's a really fun one for the deep days (sorry for the pun). The biggest surprise for me was that it's quite playful, softer than you might expect. I'll get a review up once these vlogs are all posted.
