For a while there, the running joke in the Vancouver acting community was that until you've been killed in the first 5 minutes of Supernatural, you're not really a Vancouver actor. When you get around to watching some conventions, you have to look up the ones with Jeffery Dean Morgan..for right after this episode aired.. They did talk about using Lucille in that scene.

@@HealthyDisrespectforAuthority I have met both, but this was about Mark Pellegrino. I think it was what song would you sing to one of the cast and he sang sweet transvestite aimed at Jared, I think. Clearly this was years ago. I mean my first con was 2000. So I had been to many at that point.

Crowley's relationship with the brothers is complicated. Though they would deny it under better circumstances Dean and Crowley would make great friends and its clear they do enjoy working with each other (as long as there's no backstabbing) and despite their personalities the two of them do enjoy company with other people and friendships. The main issue is they have completely different views on morals, plus Crowley runs hell and does demon things while Dean is a human who hunts the supernatural, they only work together if it benefits themselves.

Like with last season I am so proud of how the brothers have matured! First at Sam for fessing up even though Dean didn't have a clue what he was hiding. And of course I'm so proud of Dean's reaction to it, he didn't get mad or yell even though he clearly doesn't trust the BMOL and is mad/hurt that Sam agreed to work with them without talking to him first. But he keeps a leveled head, he knows from experience that if he pushes to hard Sam will push back just as hard and might leave, especially if he thinks Dean is being overprotective and controlling. Dean is meting him halfway agree to work with them but will bail if things go bad, I also think Dean realizes that fighting to much with Sam only holds them back hence the compromise. Also the reason Dean isn't as mad with Sam as he was with Mary is probably because while they were on the BMOL cases no one they died or got seriously hurt like with Mary's BMOL case.

In Mary's defense, her BMOL case didn't have the luxury of dealing with dimwitted ghouls and werewolves. When you piss off a prince of hell, someone is going to die. Can you imagine the PTSD she must have been going through as Ramiel flashed his eyes, seeing how her last encounter with a yellow eyed demon pretty much destroyed her family forever?
