Season 4 premiere started off with a bang. We got the second most iconic image in the show's history: Dean's hand coming up out of the grave; the Sam and Ruby dynamic (although we got a glimpse of it, it was enough to leave a lot of questions); and Cas having the second best character introduction (can't say who the best character introduction is cause that's a spoiler). Also, to touch on what Nathan said about others thinking Sam and Dean's relationship is toxic, I somewhat agree. The "I'll do anything for you," "I can't let you go," "I can't live without you" mentality that they have is dangerous. However, knowing how they grew up and the fact that their mom and dad are both dead and all they have is each other, it makes sense why they act like that. Anyway, great reaction guys.

Hands down _THEE Best_ introduction to a character! From the first scene until he walks into the barn, the entire episode is centered around Castiel (aka, Who pulled Dean outta hell?) The felled trees, the exploding windows/screeching noise, Pamela getting her eyes burned out just by taking a _peek_ at him, the terrified demons, THAT Entrance at the barn!! Everything builds so perfectly. This episode is SO well written. No other character in the series gets a WHOLE episode as their introduction.

@@deansbian5607 Well each showrunner has a different arch with different numbers of stanzas. You can't really isolate those three seasons because season 3 is are intrinsically tied to the first two seasons. Also the idea of isolating the show into trilogies comes from slicing them into even groupings. 3-5 being a trilogy leaves 1 and 2 as not a trilogy which goes against what I was saying. Also Season 5 doesn't work without Season 6 because of the last few minutes of that season. It ties up the lose ends. This next part stop reading if you haven't seen up to season 7. Season 4-6 are the seasons Cass should have been in. After his death in S7, his continued survival is just fan service and doesn't serve a good story.

THAT was the episode I have been waiting for you guys to react to the most. Castiel's reveal was epic and the whole confirmation of angels and god took this show to another level.
