She's rather insightful, too. I hope she can see that concern isn't indicative of the recipient's childishness-- if people are concerned it's because you're worthy of their time, attention, love. They want what's best for you. I wonder if part of her eating so many sweets is at all rooted in depression... Anyway, I hope they're both doing well now. I hope their children are thriving, too.

@crystalheart95 жыл бұрын
I agree and skip it.
@angeluvmine45545 жыл бұрын
I’ll admit, I do enjoy Richardson’s portions especially when she headed State side, but I wholeheartedly agree that it’s inappropriate in a series dealing with ED and body image issues. Especially given her bordering-on-body-dysmorphia attitude towards her body. “Bingo lady” arms? They barely jiggle? She has a pretty decent body, especially for a 40 year old woman.
@denied76165 жыл бұрын
@@angeluvmine4554so you don't understand her segment. she's supposed to represent all the women who obsess over their bodies, try ridiculous diets and treatments instead of normal exercise and risk their health in the process. if you watch all the episodes, you'd see that she concludes that as log as you're healthy and take care of yourself, you should love your body and don't give a fuck. you can see she isn't really a self-absorbed freak in episodes when she's training with women or does interviews. i think her part is really great because it shows you how stupid and ridiculous society gets about appearance while people suffer.
@Jeskers185 жыл бұрын
I respectfully disagree lol. I like those parts of the show they're a nice little humor segment as well as an interesting look into the obsession of being skinny and makes a parody of it. It is king of ridiculous how what lengths people will go to try and lose a couple pounds lol. Basically the moral of the show is to have a healthy balanced lifestyle of a diet rich in vitamins, healthy fats and minerals and exercise regularly. Also if you are having problems with your self image, it doesn't hurt you to seek professional help as well. Having a healthy body and mind takes a lot of work so don't rely on quick fixes to get a lasting result.

Hmm I think Hannah used her getting sick as an excuse. You can tell by how she was talking to the doctor at the end and pretty much admitting she thinks she lost weight or stayed the same that she is not trying as hard as she possibly can. She's gonna have to really want to get better in order for her to do so. I truly wish her the best. As for Andy, absolutely fantastic! He's doing great! Lost a stone a month is not bad at all and he looks so much better, happier and healthier. Tbf, cereal isn't horrible-- sugary, sure, but it's usually fortified. It's also easy to sub a decent, nutrient-dense, high-fiber granola, or date-oat-coconut rolls/bars/balls for it. Or *just oats*, maybe with a bit of fruit and nuts, or non-nutritive sweetener, honey, maple, or sugar. Or even proper whole grain and seed bread toast. Or cheese, if she just needs something quick and easy. Or nuts, or dried fruit-- the latter works if she specifically wants a sweet quick fix. There are plenty of ways to snack quickly and healthfully. I know, they already did their thing on the program, but I figured I'd put this out here in case it's helpful for anyone else.

That narrator has a pretty thick accent it's hard to make out some words. We don't have some of the foods they talk about here, either, or they call it something different. If you want a good reason why most commentators use "RP", listen to this show, and consider there are people even harder to understand. I swear, I once watched a UK comedian who spoke a version of English I could hardly even make out, with references I either didn't get or had to think about it to understand. Never had a problem with a native speaker from Ireland, Scotland, Australia, NZ, or even SA. Some parts of the US are borderline, but nobody who gets airtime is that hard to understand.

Maybe they have scales at home so know exactly and don’t want to give a big fake reaction lol
