I just stuck with the "vanish" from my language version but now hearing how the song goes originally, I can get why Steven in Future, the scene showing Steven traumas, showed this episode when they all "die" and man ..this is just messed up to think about

I believe that the reason why there were so many Stevens there is because most of all the other Stevens that aren’t shown as the main Steven 1 are simply other versions of Steven 1 that tried to get the hourglass and failed before eventually becoming the latest Steven 1 doing his latest attempt. That would actually explain how he could know what OG Steven would do before he did it even though it’s an alternate timeline. Despite it being that alternate timeline it’s also a Bootstrap Paradox(temporal causality loop).

Review from series ranking: "This is legitimately the funniest episode in the series, so far. On a mission, Steven finds a small hourglass that can allow him to travel through time. He then continuously goes back in time which leads into four Stevens starting a band. Like many other goofy episodes, it just goes freaking insane pretty quickly while still being incredibly funny, throughout. I guess one of the flaws in this episode is that Steven is incredibly self-centered, but I honestly don't care. If an episode is making me laugh this hard, that doesn't really matter. This one's going pretty high up, just below Tiger Millionaire. So talking about the timeline theory they all got sent back to where this all started And also it all ties back to this This is why there's so many Stevens here. It doesn't kick them into a new timeline where skiing gets the time I'll tie's back here.

I’m surprised the “time thingy” from the pilot is never mentioned. Between this episode and the pilot, the “time thingy” works so differently that it may as well be an entirely different object. In the pilot, Steven going back in time doesn’t create multiple stevens, and instead makes Steven replace his past self with his new future knowledge. Plus, it can only be used for one specific purpose after it’s used once, while this one can just do whatever Steven tells it to do. I suppose the pilot isn’t considered canon, but it’s still something that seemed interesting to bring up.

Probably the big bang, due to him saying the very beginning, so he ends up traversing time a lot of times, causing a lot of Stevens to be created, the reason why they probably didn't show this is because it would take to long

Even with miltiverse theory, specific worlds are closer related than others because when they begin to emerge. Also I don't think the Artifact teleports people to back to their OG timelines... Wait if the original steven destroyed the time thing then why did he die? If he's the original and nothing happened when the Stevens interacted without any paradoxes happening then why did he die if the steven in the jacket destroyed it then the first steven would die because he wouldn't have had the time thing but the original one dies even though he's the one who destroyed it and that would mean that since the jacket steven wouldn't die because he didn't have the time thing yet then the original steven and jacket steven would be able to live together since there was no paradoxes when all the other stevens interacted

this is personally my least favorite episode in this entire show, closely followed by the new lars and rocknaldo in that order. theres so many things i dislike, and so many inconsistencies, and why was pearl concerned about creating an alternate timeline but not watching himself die, and big fat zucchini is the worst song in the show, i love the songs in this show but just no on big fat zucchini, and without the context of it being an insult just sounds like an innuendo, it doesnt even have plot importance aside from just establishing the concept of a multiverse which is only explored again in pool hopping with how garnets future vision is explained and possibly sardonyx and sunstones version of future vision with how much they break the 4th wall, but even then, pool hopping not only introduces a multiverse better by not having characters interact with alternate timeline versions of themselves it also has character development and it introduces a new character, not a major character but at least shes a recurring one, yes i just called cat steven "she" calico cats are always female, male calico cats are not naturally a thing

This is the worst episode of the show in my opinion, and this is the hill I will die on. Not only does this episode totally break everything with this show (time travel, seriously?!) and destroy any stakes in the show because this is a show where TIME TRAVEL exists, it is done SO poorly. It is absolutely full of plot holes, and this Time Travel device works without any sort of limits. But even if you took away all the time travel bullshittery, this episode would still be bottom 10 material for me. I love how Steven acknowledges how annoying he is. Because yes, he is. In this episode, his character is totally botched and downright dreadful. And I hate all the songs in this episode too, which is something I can almost never say about the songs in this show. To me this episode has almost no redeeming qualities. There are 1 or 2 good lines, that's all I can say positive about this trainwreck of an episode.
