Ok, the beginning always confused me, because since Steven's identity as Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond was still a secret at this point, Pearl would be very aware that Steven's Gem IS powerful, so letting him handle the Prism just didn't make sense to me. Even so, EVERYONE knew he had the Gem of Rose Quartz, leader of the REBELLION against THE DIAMONDS, that sounds like a powerful Gem to me

Huh, I didn't remotely have that "Garnet is too powerful" experience, but that might be because I was constantly out of star point boosting items and things constantly targeted her and I beefed up Pearl's stats. I always found Pearl the hard hitter, with some Garnet. Amethyst definitely got the short straw, though.

The artstyle was essentially the same, but it worked better for Save the Light. A large part of that may be the fact that Save the Light is a PS4 title, while Attack the Light is a mobile game. Even disregarding technology, mobile games generally don't have nearly the same level of effort. Then again, the launch of Save the Light was marred by glitches, so maybe not.

The Orange boss can softlock your game if you already have the fusion option and used it during the boss. Because you can't use the fusion attack more then once.

The barriers would likely have the same effect on a Gem as a Destabalizer or the walls in the cells on Jaspers ship Also, Pearl isn't entirely useless, I used the move where she launches a spear at an enemy a lot mostly because I didn't have to worry about missing a star when throwing it and I could potentially get rid of multiple enemies at once

I think you like the channel "animation sins", and i don't judge you, that is a very good channel Btw, there are a few things that i disagree with you, for example, the light doors, you said that is light and they can go trough it, but remember that the body of the gems are ALSO made of light, and you can't go trough them. In game i didn't use the bubble power so much, so i can't say if it was that broken or not Garnet is not that broken, actually the broken member of my team is pearl, the only things i use garnet for was for lower the enemy defence, pearl with those light balls and that 100% chance to burn was really broken, and also with the holo-pearl you could gain so much time, and with the throwable spear you can hit many enemies at the same time with more damage than amethyst, and you can also hit flying enemies The red gemstones wasn't hard to find, i think it was from the easyest things to do, they aren't hide that bad, i almost find all the gemstones during the game, and the other i didn't found taked me less than half-hour to found, but i should say that one of the was really hard because you had to buy it, and idk if it was a random spawn because it taked more time than the other gemstones I never had those music and crash problems you had, it's wierd. Yes, i didn't like the ending too it's just like, "you made that the prism transform in hundreads of you, nice job steven" *ends* The game is also pretty short i finished it in less than two days, and the 100% taked me like half an hour When i played the game, in the desert part i had a wierd glitch that only happened once, an it was that a snake run into pearl, passed trough here and attack the air, but still hurting pearl

3:30 Extremely accurate comment. The fact that Garnet is stupidly strong makes this game's SpeedRuns run 100% on top of it. And really, Pearl and Amethyst only serves to finish enemies at the beginning of the game, after that Garnet will give HK to enemies or you will spam Alexandrite. I've done builds focused on Amethyst and even work on the game's ULTRA LATE GAME, but it's not necessary and not worth it. Kind of like all Steven games have a flaw in a character being out of the curve.

Hey I love the video btw something I saw you missed but I don’t blame you for it(because it requires you to replay a fight), if you go back to the orange (desert area) and fight the final boss with the fusion attack, you actually get stuck and can’t move on, because you can only use the fusion attack 1 time each fight when the game tells you to use the fusion attack it doesn’t let you, also the game makes you restart the game to keep playing, I found this funny. Anyways, feel free to try it out. Love this video!

I guess the reason for garnet's strength might be because she's a fusion of two homework gems and the reason for amethyst's weakness either is because she uses a whip which isn't that damaging realistically or because she's an earth gem instead of a home world gem and Pearl is in the middle since she is just a singular home world gem

About Amethyst, she also spent too much time being developed in the Kindergarten, being born as smaller and weaker than the average Quartz soldier. With that being said, she does canonically get stronger and more experienced as the series progresses.

I played ATL for all of 20 minutes. I know now there's more to it I missed but I just didn't see the appeal at the time, and having it be mobile-only is very inconvenient for me. I bought STL on a whim hoping it'd fix a few of my gripes and hoping I wouldn't miss much lore, and I wasn't disappointed. Spent days playing the game and 100% it through months.

14:05 Coming in a bit late but, and it's been a long time since I've played this one, but... I always assumed that the reason the whole situation came about was because the Prism was following Steven's inferred wishes the whole time, and generated this whole RPG-style adventure for him. Steven also has no attacks in this game, and the Prism never attacks Steven, so Steven's never personally tried to kill it. It's had a favorable view of Steven since they came into contact, so turning into Light Stevens at the end isn't incongruous. That said, you've played this game much more than I have, and more recently, so my memory could be faulty.
