I use a racquetball as my go-to for self-care. Instead of rolling it around, I do 30-120 seconds of static pressure. This does more neuromuscular reprogramming and therefore you'll have more long lasting results. My other two favorite techniques are massage cupping and gua sha-like scraping. Both break up adhesions and allow the fascia to be less restricted. I've been a massage therapist for 21 years.

Lacrosse ball and golf ball are my go-tos for this. Huge release and relief for a creaky old man. Just before bed, in the dark, and I get a much better sleep.

Amazing video! Lots of us are stuck due to lack of education. Sometimes we just have to turn pain into a stimulus to learn. We all grow through our mistakes. Great job!

Great content as always!! Would you recommend also a foam roller or is it too big to hit the adhesion?

For the longest time, I had issues up/under the scapula on my left shoulder, and into my rhomboids. Just CONSTANTLY tightened up, balled up, achy pain. Repeatedly focusing on that area with a lacrosse ball and one of those mini tennis balls... Zero problems these days. It took a while, not gonna lie, but I can't deny it worked.

I also recommend trying a Rock Blade, or even the handle of a kitchen utensil (like a bamboo stir fry spatula) that will mould into the calf muscles as you scrape to slowly help release the fascia on the calves and soles of feet, while getting new blood into the area. Hurts like a mother

Similar to what physical therapists do. They do it with there hands. Curious how old is mark?
Try it fellas I was doing weighted pull-ups in the gym and then I was walking off moving my head around rubbing my neck then I noticed some skinny little yoga lady putting her ankle on her forehead and I started talking to her about stretching long story short she really helped

Science contradicts itself all the time. For every paper that researches and recommends one thing, there's another paper that says it's pseudoscience. Better to go off what works from experience.

And if you didn’t know it’s very well known that science lags well behind in these health and fitness fields of study.
