Hwasa surprised me! One of the most open notes I've heard from her. Solji's C#5s were strained. DIA, Yeonji, Lina, Younha and Haeri slayed! And of course Sohyang and Seungyeon with their amazing belting techniques.

Agree, but still I have to point out that she has a natural edge there. Sounds with higher frequency appeal more to the human ears than the lower ones.

No íts lee younghyun, just because in diva's project videos when lee younghyun hit that notes and sohyang just appeared in video doesn't mean sohyang hit it its lee younghyun, but sohyang can go higher

@@larchier Rosé have a very soulful tone but yg force her to use a nasality technique that make her technique weak because she only support A3-A4/Bb4 she can support A3~Bb4 consistenly if she use her one tone not what yg is forcing to do

She does have the ability to support with her abdominal and lower back muscles, it’s just sometimes drowned out by the excess squeezing she does to create her timbre, adding tension where she doesn’t need it. That closed-off approach to singing is the reason that she’s never resonated, even when supporting. Her A3/B♭3-A4 range (and occasionally B♭4) is where she has enough ease to let her support through without squeezing too much. She’s not as consistent as a formally trained vocalist, but she has the foundation.

Most of those notes aren't supported, for example rosé hani sejeong Kang dira, wendy's C#5 and so many more and wendy's C5 wasn't resonant I'd dare even to say the support was shallow
