I like how it breaks down and can be put together easily. That would make a great pack gun. Hard to believe how quiet it is.

OK, I'm really confused now. I have 2 PCC's one is a Stribog pistol converted to carbine length (16" barrel) and the other is the S&W M&P FPC (also 16" barrel) and when I run it suppressed vs unsuppressed using a YHM R9 suppressor and 147 gr SPEAR Lawman ammo, why does suppressed sound the same to me as unsuppressed and on both PCCs? I thought that maybe it was because of the 16" barrel is pushing the bullet past the sound barrier but after watching this video; and yes, I realize the sound as recorded and played through my computer doesn't accurately represent what the actual sound is like, I can still tell that there is a distinct difference between unsuppressed and suppressed. I don't get it. Does my suppressor just suck?
@Bluelightbandit2 ай бұрын
@ecobasetech4558 I'm not familiar with that can, but you should be able to tell some difference. Is that a sub sonic round? Hmmm, Yankee Hill makes some nice stuff 👌
@ecobasetech45582 ай бұрын
@@Bluelightbandit I was under the impression that anything 147gr and higher for 9mm is considered subsonic. Also, since this was at my range and my range has a rule that we must wear earpro; and I don't think there is any exceptions for that. I was wearing your average $40 Walkers, I've wondered if the "active" part of the ear pros somehow re-amplified the gun shot enough to make it sound the same as it did unsuppressed. Lastly, I also tried the suppressor on my PSA Dagger and it actually sounded quieter, but with one problem. Although I was using a Nielsen device, the Dagger would not cycle. But for that issue I think it might be because no one told me that I'm supposed to put some kind of grease on the Nielsen device. I still have yet to try that out and see if it will cycle. Also, if it matters, I wasn't running the suppressor "wet". Though I didn't think that was necessary in this case.

@ecobasetech4558 Yeah, you're right lol. It's been a rough day. It could be your hearing protection because I noticed a difference between my Peltor's and my Sordin's. I've never added oil to my suppressors like some do. I may try it to see if it makes a difference.

I've been stocking 9mm for decades back when you could get a box of 50 for $6.50 but, I haven't bought any subsonic 9's lately and they're 50 bucks a box here...I almost passed out when I saw the price lol.
